Mediocre food, dramatic view

Not much to add to the existing reviews. The view is worth the price of entry but don't expect the service or the food to impress. Good place to go for cocktails. Not so great for food, but adequate.

Arrived in town the night before a wedding. They had a prix fixe sunset menu. For $21.95, we had a choice of soup or salad, 4 entrees, and cheesecake. Everything was excellent, the staff was very attentive. View was awesome! Totally enjoyed it!

We chose this restaurant because of the location and view. It's been around for a long time and some of us had been there decades ago for weekend brunch. It was not a busy night, we were seated quickly and the server let us set our own pace. The bread is served with pesto that was very good. The seafood... More

Stopped in for a late lunch, few tables were occupied. After sitting for 10 or 15 minutes a waitress finally stopped by. She explained that she would not be our server but offered to take our drink order. We were ready to order food and she took it as well. A different waitress brought our drinks and eventually our food.... More

Went here with our family after the theater. This place has such an awesome view of the valley - and that's what the pricetag is for - I'm assuming. The entrees are not worth $30+ for what you get. They are trying to be upscale and fancy (and I get it - there's not much in this are that is)... More

Party was early Sunday morning with a mass said first. Originally the mass was supposed to be outside, but due to rain it was quickly moved inside. Everything was really nice. The food was good and the service was on point. Everything we asked for was provided and all ran smoothly. Great time all around.

This could be one of the great restaurants in Southern California, and maybe it was at one time. But now there are painful signs of aging and the total experience leaves one wondering what went wrong. We met some friends there after finding the place on the Internet. We were favored with a window table and the server was friendly... More

If I could give this restaurant a negative score - I would. I am never going back. We called for reservations a week before we arrived... even with a reservation it took them close to an hour to seat us. No cocktail comps or anything. Once we got to the table --- more waiting. The waiter or buss boy never... More

The view is amazing overlooking the 405 and the valley. The food however was overpriced and cold. Probably won't go back again.

My 50th HS reunion was held here on 9/20/14. Having it here ruined a memorable time. Horrible food, rushed servers, surly bartenders. NEVER hold or go to an event here.
