as i was reminded yesterday, after breakfast at angelique with buddy hej: if you eat pig, the ham and cheese omelette is the best ever, anywhere. comes with tasty home fried potatoes (no onions) and fresh mixed greens dressed with a mellow dijon vinagrette. at lunch today, with neighborfriend dana: the smoked salmon and trout salad. c'etait parfait! more

The salad was very fresh and flavorful. The food in general was great. I loved the little piece of France in middle of Fashion District in downtown LA, but the service was terrible. Maybe it was just that day or that waiter or being on the second floor. I don't know what it was but we had to ask for... more

Wonderful little French cafe in downtown L.A. I've been going here for years. It is the perfect place to start a Saturday shopping expedition to the Fashion District. Lovely food.
