I had the best halibut I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Simply sauteed and served over tomato risotto with a tomato and avocado salad and a sweet and spicy sauce this dish was sublime. Good wine list and great mojitos too. There really is a Xiomara and she keeps a close watch over her namesake restaurant.

Nice, white table clothed restaurant. Not too big. Nice bar, great food. Staff was attentive and friendly. The halibut was nicely done. Great presentation. Drinks were a bit expensive.

We wanted to get dressed up and go somewhere close for my last night on my LA trip. Xiomara ticked those boxes. It happened to fall on a monday night so the restaurant was quiet. Service was great. I really loved the ceviche with scallops, I love anything that scallops can find their way into. Our entrees were perfectly enjoyable.... More

We've been to this place a multiple occasions. We've never had a bad meal, but we've never left with the feeling we had a really good meal either. The Pros: The atmosphere is great-dark wood with a beautiful bar and nice decorative touches. The dining room is two stories; the front part is open and has a two story ceiling;... More

This is not a fancy place. There is a funky atmosphere with multiple pics of Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison on the wall. Jazz playing quietly in the background. Great mojitos made with real sugar cane. Small wine list. I found the menu to be a little unfocused, however I had two of the best dishes I have... More

This restaurant, which is very un-assuming from the outside, is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. Even though the owner, Xiomara, is the chef of cuban cuisine, this food is truly incredible and goes beyond cuban cooking. I had never had ceviche before and therefore had no means of comparison, but what a... More

OMG, I found this place last week through the dine LA program and I already have plans to go back again tomorrow. What a little gem?! I took a friend who's here from Zurich and we both loved everything we ordered. They have a great chef and everything was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place and so... More

We have been to Xiomara twice, once with other couples, more recentlys with our family and both times we have come away pleased. The atmosphere is welcoming and the design touches draw your eyes around the room. The staff welcomes you warmly as soon as you arrive and remain attentive throughout your stay. We shared three appetizers for the table... More
