Love the architecture

Inside the restaurant, the brick walls rise into what truly looks like an old bell tower. I don't know the history of the building but the name campanile seems very appropriate. This place is always great. We've also been for the Grilled Cheese night and loved it.

Met a friend for drinks and dinner. The friend is a foodie but I was seriously questioning her tastes when I pulled my car in front of the restaurant. The restaurant's decor is nice but not super fancy, and I felt welcome as soon as I entered. Sat in the bar and waited for my friend to arrive. The bar... More

Looked this place online as the top 10 best Italian restaurants in LA. The location was interesting but once inside it was nice. The food was great but the portions were a bit small. The bread and butter were fabulous. The Bibb lettuce salad was great for an appetizer.

Very fine establishment with delish food made with local fresh ingredients you can taste. Gourmet level for a decent price. Excellent for a romantic date in the day or evening. Try the Pan roasted Halibut or the Grilled Sea Bass if you like Seaood like me....perfection!!! For desert if you see any cobbler on the menu...grab it! I recently had... More

Truly it is great. And it continues to be great. If you're from out of town...try it. If you live in LA..and have not been there, then "Get a Move On" and go. I'd love it if they'd come up with something fresh to lure me back....

Although we have been to a ton of fancy places around the world, this is still our favorite place in town. It's not about the celebrity chef but the food. The best nights to visit are Market Wednesdays when the evening's ingredients are sourced from the morning visit to the farmer's market. If not, try Friday Night Flights. Small bites... More

On our previous visit we had a great dinner at Campanile - this time it was horrible. Everything was salty, salty, salty. We sent the pork chops back and they were just as salty the second time. If our waiter had bothered to check in with us (we never saw him from the time he took our order until he... More

Services was very slow for a group of 8....(Tip of 20% included...of course). The food is decent not terrific, restaurant atmosphere lacks a really authentic charm, wine list is excessively pricey and overall the food is VERY expensive. There are a lot better options in LA. The place is famous for a grilled cheese sandwich...figure it out. Will not return.
