Brisket

Great Brisket sandwich. It was just as tender and good as the Pastrami and Corn Beef. So, for those who need to lessen the salt it is great. Very busy, so get there early for lunch.

After years of hearing about it, I finally made it to Langers. I loved the sandwich, Of course, I followed the advice of my dining companion and ordered the #19, pastrami, swiss, cole slaw and Russian dressing. I wanted to take half home with me, but it was so delicious I kept eating and then I was mad at myself... More

Langer's has almost the best pastrami in the world. Regardless of that, it has absolutely the best pastrami sandwich in the world. The #19, which consists of pastrami, swiss, coleslaw and russian dressing on rye has won awards as the best pastrami sandwich in the U.S., even when competing against Katz's Deli in New York and many others. Don't get... More

Good pastrami sandwich. Pricey for what you get, though. I had much better in New York and Montreal. Average service. But worth a visit for a quick lunch.

This is an LA institution and for a good reason. The food is outstanding. There are the usual deli selections, but this place has built its reputation and legend on its pastrami. It is offered in a variety of ways, but if this is your first visit go with a traditional pastrami sandwich with Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. Not... More

Been coming here since my college days and although the neighborhood has seen better days, the food quality here is spectacular, it's different from Katz or Carnegie in New York, but arguably one of the best pastrami sandwich places in LA. Parking is right across the street and they validate. There is also to go order, but the experience is... More

*Location: Near MacArthur Park in a colorful ethnic area. *Parking: Easy access parking one block away. Free for up to 90 minutes if ticket is validated. *Atmosphere: Classic deli; busy; comfortable booths; modern enough; clean. *Food choices: Wide menu for both breakfast and all day lunch. *Food quality: Excellent, fresh, tasty and high quality. Had the #11 turkey/ham/cheese. *Service: Fast... More

Quite simply, this is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! No other Jewish deli in America comes close to the overall quintessential experience that is Langer's. Yes, some point to Katz's in NYC as a great deli, and it is very good. But it is not Langer's. Both are unique in that they hand cut their pastrami. But Langer's KILLS it... More

Pastrami, pastrami, pastrami. Isn't that the old business cliche for having a successful restaurant/business? I have either the Reuben or the number 19 (house specialty sandwich), yeah, I think that is the number. Oh... of course fries and a Dr. Browns Cel-Ray soda. Simply perfection. Several sources consider this pastrami to be America's best. Do not argue. Their special pastrami,... More

Our family in LA highly recommended a trip to Langer's during our visit. We arrived to see a long line out the door...a good sign of really good food. After about a 25 minute wait we were seated and ordered 5 #19 and fries. Service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Out came these very hefty sandwiches...pastrami, slaw, swiss cheese between...
