While my husband and I live just outside of Los Angeles, we had never been to Langer's in Downtown and so decided to meet there for lunch the other day. We were thrilled at our choice! The #19 pastrami sandwich was just amazing and so large, we planned to split it with a bowl soup and french fries; however, my... More

Absolute a must visit whilst in LA a real traditional Delli. There servings are large though not as ridiculous as NYC but no one will ever leave hungry i promis ! I had the famous 69 sandwich which was delicious and the rye bread simply perfect and very fresh . We. Started with a shared portion of choped liver which... More

As others on here have said, Langer's lives up to the hype. The pastrami sandwiches are incredibly delicious. Langer's cuts their pastrami thick, and it is lean and juicy. Don't come here for slick decor or fine service.....it's a deli that is only open during the day in an area that looks dicey, but is safe. The restaurant has its... More

If you're expecting the piled-thick pastrami of Katz's in NYC or LA's Canter's, you won't find it here. Instead, Lange's sandwiches have more of a "fresh, light" thing going on - thinner layer of pastrami or corned beef and more slaw. Still, pretty darned good. Love their house-baked rye.

Langer's makes one helluva pastrami sandwich. Don't over think your order, there's a reason why everyone orders the #19 (warm pastrami, russian dressing, swiss cheese and coleslaw on rye), it's freaking delicious. Some people may complain about the price, but it's a typical cost for a good/traditional deli. Some may complain about the location being in the "ghetto" but it's... More

we went here off of a recommendation from my cousin that they had the best rye bread of any deli (which I will agree with), but I was disappointed that none of the meats were Kosher. They have great pickles too, and we wound up taking an order of the new pickles home with us along with our loaf of... More

Always a fan of a good pastrami sandwich, we stopped in for lunch. We arrived just in time to beat the big rush, but we still had to wait about 10 minutes. It took a couple of minutes for our waiter to appear, but once we ordered, our food came out very fast. Outside of it being fast, the food... More

Located across the street from MCArthur park- Langer's is a must for everyone to experience. The pastrami, turkey and lengua sandwiches are all great. The portions are pretty large-enough to share with someone. For local angeleno's, you can call in order's and pick up curbside right in front of the restaurant. They even swipe your credit card right in front... More
