Langers is in a "skid-row" and "ghetto" Los Angeles neighborhood -- be vigilant, watch your purse/wallets and don't let your kids wonder off. We're glad that we took the "RED-LINE subway" from North Hollywood, instead of parking in this lousy, scary neighborhood. WARNING: Don't go to Langers after dark, . I would not feel safe coming here with my family... More

My boyfriend and I aren't from the L.A. area, but were surprised none of my family that actually live here knew about this place. Maybe they just live under rocks, who knows. The boy discovered this place on Food Network; I think the Sandwich King said this was his all-time favorite sandwich. We're sandwich people. We had to come. These... More

Great pastrami sandwiches, but pretty pricey for said sandwiches. In a bad/transitional neighborhood, go early or on the weekend and traffic will be lighter. I'd go back and try something different, pastrami isn't my favorite sandwich.

I heard Langer's pastami is best in town. Yes it is really juicy pastrami so tender bun is nice and soft and crispy. Even I write this review my mouth watering I can eat 3meals at least one month ha ha ha.

Finally my first visit to Langer's, tried the pastrami sandwich and was not disappointed! Super good sandwich, love the atmosphere in the place too. Good service and decent prices for the huge portions!

Langer's is rightfully known for its pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Especially with a potato knish and Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray Soda. But the experience is not complete without the wait staff, many of them Jewish grandmothers with attitude and advice. As a NYC transplant this is one of the places to go for a taste of home. I recently brought... More

This is an old fashioned deli that serves the best pastrami sandwich, #19! Thick hand carved slices of pastrami, coleslaw and Swiss cheese between two slices of rye bread is the fantastic sandwich. Together with an order of fries and a chocolate milk shake makes a delicious lunch. Portions are huge. Staff is friendly.

Langer's deli has the best pastrami and rye in town. It is located in a rather shady area of downtown Los Angeles. But you can call ahead and they will bring your order curbside. I took my two teenagers for a great lunch after visiting the Grammy Museum. They were hesitate to venture around the area of the restaurant but... More

This is the place! Been that was for many years. Just put the name in Google. It is all good except the locations. Next to MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. The restaurant has to close in the late afternoon so that customers can at least feel safe. No need to drive and look for ;parking. Just take the Red or... More

Pastrami Pastrami Pastrami--- that's all you have to know. This is an old fashioned, huge portioned, New York style, deli. Run, don't walk to get the Matzo Ball Soup with Kreplach. If you are on the way to LAX and you need to grab a quick and fantastic sandwich for the plane- this is the place. The fresh bread and... More
