My traveling companion said he had never had a better pork chop (and he's a Midwesterner and knows his pork chops!) I had potato chowder and a Waldorf salad, both excellent. The restaurant is actually in the train station, and open on the station side, so we were treated to chamber music being played just outside. A white-tablecloth place, a... More

Have not been to the restaurant lately but the seperate bar is way over priced. $6 for a can of PBR! I will not be back.

My husband and I went here for my birthday dinner. The service was a little slow, but that was okay because we weren't in any hurry. The server was polite and helpful when he did get to us. The food was very good, well presented. The restaurant is small and quiet, clean and nicely appointed , but it is inside... More

I was in LAUPT at dinner, and there are some pretty limited options. Personally I am a burger in a local bar sort of guy, but hey, I'm on vacation. Traxx is right inside the Los Angeles union station, with seating inside the restaurant and tables out in the station itself. I had a local fish dish that was the... More

if your stuck at Union, Go Here! One TV, but snack on some fries with the dipping sauces, all of them are awesome! Beers off tap and the people are nice! Good hang out while you wait for your train/bus.

Traxx has been a desired destination for us for 10 years, but it didn't happen until a surprise birthday for me last night. We had an outstanding experience in one of my favorite buildings in the world--Union Station. We live in the burbs, and caught the 6:08 Amtrak Surfliner from Anaheim. Arrived at Traxx and the champagne my wife ordered... More

At there as we were on our way by train from LA to Chicago. It is a bit pricey, however the food was pretty good.

A friend brought me down to catch a train so I treated her to dinner. We didn't have anything exotic and the food was good but nothing spectacular. The server was nice but seemed to be the only one there taking care of the outside tables. We sat outside the restaurant in the lobby so we could people watch and... More

Ate dinner here on our last night in Los Angeles while waiting for train in historic Union Station. I had striped bass and friend had halibut. We were very pleased with the meal but were surprised that the rolls were cold. Rating would be higher if the rolls were heated or a type not usually heated. Otherwise the meal and... More

Probably I went at a wrong time. 6 pm for a dinner! Very welcoming atmosphear inside. Pineapple juice was not fresh as suggested and the starter bread was cold. However the bass I ordered was perfect. Good place to eat. Recommended. 3.5/5
