Nice and Decent!!

This is the most decent restaurant which you will find inside the LA Union station, in my view. It's a very quiet place, right at the entrance of a LA union station, which is usually a crowded place, where you can both drink and dine. The Menu list is not that long. But the food which they serve is... read more

We take the train to Los Angeles to attend the Ahmanson Theatre Sunday matinees. We are always looking for a place to have lunch/brunch prior to curtain. Most times it requires a taxi ride as the choices within walking distance of Union Station are either China Town or Mexican Restaurants. We were delighted to find that Traxx, the lovely restaurant... Our group of 10 went there last Saturday and all left happy. The atmosphere was great as the palce was quiet and we could all easily hear each other which is unusual for a group of that size. The server was very responsive and all were happy with their meals. I had the prok chop; the portion was generous and... More

Hi,I went with my stepdaughter to LA for one day bye train and when we came back in the station we found that restaurant by luck.We were very hungry and there was steak au poivre on the menu.Normally nine on ten in the restaurant they can't make it like it must be.So I asked the lady and she explained me... My traveling companion said he had never had a better pork chop (and he's a Midwesterner and knows his pork chops!) I had potato chowder and a Waldorf salad, both excellent. The restaurant is actually in the train station, and open on the station side, so we were treated to chamber music being played just outside. A white-tablecloth place, a... More

Have not been to the restaurant lately but the seperate bar is way over priced. $6 for a can of PBR! I will not be back.

My husband and I went here for my birthday dinner. The service was a little slow, but that was okay because we weren't in any hurry. The server was polite and helpful when he did get to us. The food was very good, well presented. The restaurant is small and quiet, clean and nicely appointed , but it is inside... More

I was in LAUPT at dinner, and there are some pretty limited options. Personally I am a burger in a local bar sort of guy, but hey, I'm on vacation. Traxx is right inside the Los Angeles union station, with seating inside the restaurant and tables out in the station itself. I had a local fish dish that was the... More

if your stuck at Union, Go Here! One TV, but snack on some fries with the dipping sauces, all of them are awesome! Beers off tap and the people are nice! Good hang out while you wait for your train/bus.

Traxx has been a desired destination for us for 10 years, but it didn't happen until a surprise birthday for me last night. We had an outstanding experience in one of my favorite buildings in the world--Union Station. We live in the burbs, and caught the 6:08 Amtrak Surfliner from Anaheim. Arrived at Traxx and the champagne my wife ordered... More
