Yang Chow's has been a China Town restaurant that continues to have excellent quality food at a reasonable price. I've been going there for 40 years and I have never had a bad meal.

Have visited twice in the past month. Great Chinese food and good service. Valet parking behind the restaurant. We liked it so much the first time, we took friends with us last weekend who said it was the best Chinese food they'd ever had. Slippery Shrimp is not to be missed. Great assortment of Gluten Free options.

This is a popular restaurant with good reviews. I can see why. The food is fantastic served in rather large portions. We over ordered and left quite a lot. The service was friendly and efficient. A sound option for Chinese in LA. I would return.

Listen, you have to seriously think before you review. Sometimes it's hard, but you need to steer people in the right direction and that doesn't mean, just post good reviews and say nice stuff. Slippery Shrimp...look up the reviews. (people brag about this dish) It is a very sugary, deep fried, shrimp dish with very little spicy heat to offset... More

We went there at 3:00pm, but it was still full of people. The slippery shrimp is very good, even when it turns cold.

Showed up very late, but the manager was kind enough to squeeze us in on a holiday. Food was excellent as was the atmosphere.

The ORANGE CHICKEN is a Trademark of Yang Chow Restaurant, and it's great! Just a 5 minute drive from the Downtown L.A. area, this is some of the best local food.

Ever want to run out of a restaurant as fast as you could without paying?.....Went out of our way to eat there with 3 friends who ate there 6 years ago and raved about it. We went on a Thursday at 8pm. Our meal was terrible. Had to add soy sauce to the shrimp and pork wonton soup for flavor.... More

Great food, fast and friendly service. We went there Sunday around noon and wasn't as crowded as what people say it would be.
