Every trip to CA is also an opportunity to have dinner at Yang Chow and have the Slippery Shrimp. It has become part of our travel itinerary we never miss. Any dish we've had has been excellent. The food is delivered quickly and the service is great. Love this place!

I never visit LA without stopping at Yang Chow for my portion of slippery shrimp! I love those sweet and spicy guys. The wonton soup is also a favorite of mine Lang with the spicy garlic chicken. It does get a little pricey with drinks, food and tips but it's the only place with slippery shrimp and that makes it... More

We went there for dinner. There was a line outside so we figured it must be good. Friendly service but the place is kinda small, nevertheless, we were seated and ordered our food. The drinks came out then shortly after that the food came out. Service was nice and catered to us. It was so delicious my whole family enjoyed... More

We decided to lunch in Chinatown and this place looked pretty good. Note that restaurants have a grade (this one is A) so the better the grade the better for you. Service was quick and friendly and the customers were pretty diverse. I thought the food was a little expense (after all, most of it is rice), but we enjoyed... More

Great place to eat for lunch or before a Clipper game at Staples Center. Try the slippery shrimp. It's Outa this world. Fast seating and great service.

The service and food was good. They were crowded with people of every ethnicity which was a good sign. Getting a table for 2 was easy as most patrons were groups of 4 or more. Only complaint is it was a little expensive. But the amount off food was large. I would eat there again. It is in Chinatown.

I admit it, having lived in Taiwan I have very high standards for Szechuan food. This restaurant was okay but not great, and no better than what I'd find in my land-locked suburban hometown. We may have ordered poorly, but mostly our dishes tasted much too salty and simply of soy sauce. We had fun looking at all the celebrity... More

This is a great and well-known Chinese restaurant, and a fun stop in Chinatown. It's accustomed to people who may not always do Chinese food, but also authentic. They were friendly and able to accommodate requests for MSG-free plates (I've been told at other restaurants that this is impossible, as it's added to all the sauces and broths). Today, we... More
