Good food but I think their branch in the valley is better. Don't know if it's the cramped atmosphere. It seemed like a good idea to try it. Perhaps we did not order the right stuff. Shrimp cakes was good but very expensive. Parking is tough but we managed to get street parking a block away. Will probably go to... More

The restaurant is little and is not fancy at all. But the food here is really good! We were so lucky to find this place to have late dinner about 2am. I enjoyed my SPICY Pud-See-Ewe, Tom-Yum-Goong, and Thai-iced tea. The portions are BIG! The Tom-Yum-Goong has lots of shrimps and mushrooms and it is big enough for 2 ppl.... More

We had dinner here on the recommendation of Trip Advisor reviews, and as usual, we were not disappointed. My companion and I each had an appetizer and an entree and everything was delicious. The restaurant, in a small strip plaza, isn't much to look at, but it is clean and the service was friendly and fast. FYI - portions are... More

O.K. at first glance this little place is nothing to write home about...in a shabby strip-mall... tight parking... etc! But wait until you get inside and taste the food... OMG!!! There is no other place to eat Thai in Hollywood for our family. We use to live in Los Angeles, and eat here everytime we visit (twice a year), and... More

We ate in Samanluang cafe for lunch. We found the foods are goods and the price are ok. The service is decent coz I considered the cafe as canteen than cafe so no much complaint about the service as long as the foods are good and the price is inexpensive especially for tourist on budget. Still recommended

Authentic and actually better than the noodles dishes sold in Thailand as all the beef used are US beef! If you are a Thai you will hear the waitress yell to the cook "Kon Thai" or "the customer is Thai" and you're sure to get the more spicy, authentic, version. The Thai ice coffee and ice tea are nice too.... More

We went back to this restaurant 2 years ago. This review is a little outdated, but just want to share here that the food is still delicious but definitely not as good as the '90s. Service is so so ... but would recommend for those who only cares about the food.

The one thing about Thai food I have always enjoyed was the spice and freshness of it. This was very bland and did not seem fresh at all. I went here since one of the reviews said that Pad Thai was great. It was far from great. No tang, no spice, and a bad texture. Not good. I brought my... More
