The best happy hour in L.A. contrasts the high-priced and fairly high-class seafood restaurant. Located in Library Tower, the tallest skyscraper in L.A., it boasts a rockin pub scene/sports bar that draws a white-collar crowd from the nearby L.A. financial district. After reading several okay reviews on this site, we were unsure what to expect. Our food was great (I'd highly recommend the corn + seafood chowder) as was the service. We'll definitely return more

We've eaten at several locations of this restaurant chain and even been to the one in Los Angeles near the library. The location is in a busy business area (during the day). At night the foot traffic quiets and the skyscrapers' lights shine nearby. Los Angeles County provides food establishments with ratings. We usually patronize only those with an "A"... more

After making a special trip to LA to select a location for a 75 guest prenuptial dinner for our son and fiancee, we selected McCormick and Schmick's because the food was decent and the wood panelled ambience contrasted nicely with the nearby wedding hotel.
