A great experience

Excellent Korean BBQ experience. The food was outstanding (especially the thin marinated beef) and the service was very attentive. The only way we would have found this restaurant was if a local would take us there and that is exactly what happened. After going to Korea two years ago I was craving Korean Barbacue and a friend of ours suggested this restaurant. I must warn travellers that it does not look like much from outside (or even from inside)... More

My First time in a Korean BBQ place. It was recommended by a Korean sales clerk in the fashion district and wow. It was a great experience to go there. Please order the shirt ribs. You cook your meat in your table. It's delicious and fair in price. Great concept. You can tell this is the place for that!!

The skinny Parking: street or their small lot if you get there early enough Decor: dive Service: gruff Food: delicious I have been coming here for 15 years and while the decor has gotten slightly better, the taste of the Spencer steak and the short ribs never fail. I have tried the shrimp (belch), the pork (too spicy) and the... More

This hole in the wall K town institute came highly recommended by local friends. We came a little early (6-ish) to avoid crowds and were seated right away. Parking was available in their lot, no problem. The place spells (and smells!) authentic from a block away. Charcoal, moms and pops servers, little English spoken but adequate. We ordered three meats... More

Went to this place with a big group while visiting LA in April, and by popular demand, came back again in May. It's a little quieter than other Korean BBQ places - you are actually able to talk to the other folks at your table. The food is delicious except that this last time, they forgot to turn the meat... This was our first experience with Korean BBQ. A true culture experience with authentic Korean cuisine. The quality of the food was great and the service was excellent. The food was extremely tasty with a wide variety of Ezra's to add to your choice of several varieties of meats, poultry and seafood. We are going back again to enjoy more!

This place is everything we look for when going to a Korean BBQ. Charcoal grills at your table, smoky air, and excellent food. A bit pricey, but it is LA after all. Then only negative was a delay in taking our order - perhaps since we were 2 white adults with our Korean kids? (We've eaten Korean all over the... More

I was visiting LA from the UK and had heard about Korean bbq from an American friend but I didn't really know what to expect. The soot bull jeep is not at all flashy. It is basically decorated and a bit grubby because of all the smoke but feels completely authentic. Each table has its own coal bbq and extractor... More
