I see what hype is about!

First time visitor and it was great! The chicken is great, the waffles are super-yummy, and so are the greens and mac and cheese. Yes, I had all of that in one setting. It was all so good :-)

I honestly do not know how some of these places earn cult status by being so mediocre. The chicken is over cooked, not terribly, but still over cooked. The waffles are not crispy; rather, they are more like a soft chewy carb disc. There are literally hundreds of breakfast spots in the area that deserve more recognition and credit that... More

No wait for a table as we went around 2pm, but once seated service was slow and very inattentive. We had the Obama Special which is a waffle with 3 chicken wings, and was very tasty. Prices are moderate and food was served hot. I had seen this place on a "best of" food show so gave it a try.... More

My first trip to LA and I had to try this! Definitely lives up to the hype! The "Obama Special" is just enough food to keep you full until dinner. Thank you to kind security guard for offering to take pics for us. Great service too :) They really need to open a location inside LAX. They would do AMAZING... More

The chicken was okay? I have had better fried in my kitchen. The peices seem to be getting smaller and smaller. I have always loved eating here. but guess I gotta find another spot.

My family took me here when visiting on business. The restaurant is great for families. The staff was polite and attentive. The interior is what I would describe as 1970's Spanish LA. The food was good and plentiful. There was a wait for a table and there is no bar to sit at. Parking is out on the street. This... More

People have told me about this famous spot for 20 years. We finally went to dinner here and WOW!!! This place is not to be missed. The fried chicken, you have to set aside the diet and just go for it. The waffles are the best I have ever had.

I was a bit leery when I heard a friend mention Roscoe's as a place for chicken in waffles. LA is not an area that I would associate with this type of soul food. I'm glad that I decided to check it out instead of letting preconceived notions get in the way. This is not the type of establishment I... More

I couldn't say enough about Roscoe's, although I don't frequent this location as much as the one on Pico. From my experience this location is a decent size, the food is consistent with other locations the only thing that sticks out was the parking. Its awful, but its Hollywood so that's normal.

We came for lunch on Memorial Day and wanted to eat here due to it being a famous eatery. One thing that was a bummer was the long wait - an hour. The staff are really nice and accommodating but I guess it's what to expect when it's so popular and a holiday to boot. Although I've eaten here before... More
