OMG delicious chicken and waffles

I never had fried chicken and waffles so I was excited to try this restaurant. I saw this restaurant on a food channel after Obama ate here and I was intrigued. The place was packed and the foid was delicious and inexpensive. Will definitely go back

Best place to go but always a wait. Is it worth it? For sure...food is great and chucked waffles are out of this world. Even thier hot sauce is great. Expect a wait but u won't regret it, you might even see a celebrity since sunset gower studios is a block away

Our pastor told us to make sure we visit this place so we make it our first stop and we was very please. Our only regret is that we did not go there twice.

If you love chicken and waffles, as did my companions, you will love this original location. If you wonder what the big deal is - like me - you can enjoy a decent waffle and still wonder what the big deal is. Nice staff, casual environment. You will love it or just go along for the ride but you won't... More

I was highly disappointed in my visit to Roscoe's. The chicken was tiny and tasted days old, and the mac and cheese and collard greens were both flavorless. I felt overall it was overprice for what I was given or maybe my expectations were too high. The only highlight was the fact was the service was fast. I would try... More

Will go back again. Delicious chicken and waffles were perfect. Had seen it on TV and had to do it. We were not disappointed. Serving portions were great for the price. No one left hungry.

The chicken is really really good. Pan fried and it makes a difference. The Obama special was the best choice for breakfast. A true original you should not miss!

Roscoes is always loud, dark, and a little trashy, but consistently has fast service and excellent meals. I always get the Obama special, which is 3 fried chicken wings and one waffle. I love the flavor of the waffles, but can't ever get an entire one eaten. The chicken is always freshly prepared and moist. They provide lots of syrup... More

I've eaten at the original Roscoe's as well as this location, and both are excellent. The food is delicious and filling -- pretty much all fried chicken, waffles, and other southern foods -- the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. You will never leave Roscoe's hungry, though you may leave with leftovers (that reheat well, by the way).
