Everyone in our party enjoyed every ounce of their meals. The only drawback is the lack of beverage options. The location seemed a little sketchy but once in the repurposed home, the food was so good that you did not think of anything else. I had the seafood risotto and the flourless chocolate cake.

Enjoying a wonderful dinner with friends last night at Off Vine reminded me of why this is consistently the best restaurant in Hollywood. The service is professional, the welcome genuinely hospitable and the quality and preparation of the food superb. On Monday evenings one can appreciate their half price menu and in nice weather there is nothing more pleasant than... More

We at at Off Vine on March 18 with friends prior to going to the Pantages Theater. We arrived at 6:15 right on time for our reservation which should have given us plenty of time to eat and walk to the theater for the 8 p.m. performance. Though we told the waiter we were dining before the theater we barely... More

Lovely place! They were gracious and accommodating as we were a large group with well behaved children! The food was excellent too. I enjoyed the breakfast pasta and my hubby and I shared the French toast breakfast. It was perfectly cooked; crispy on the outside and light (well cooked) on the inside. The duck sausage in the breakfast pasta was... More

I had the pleasant surprise of experiencing brunch on a Saturday at Off Vine. For an appetizer, the fresh baked cinnamon bunletts are a must! My main course was the French Toast plate. The slices are thick yet light and fluffy. They were crispy and didn't get soggy in the warm Vermont maple syrup. The bacon was flavorful and not... More

This is my go to place before going to the Pantages Theater, as its just 2 blocks away. In this instance, we went to see The Lion King, and arrived at 12:00 for a Saturday matinee performance. The menu offers a wide variety of items for brunch, from the typical omelette, french toast to more heartier items. They also offer... More

The vibe is very cool, with a great set of outdoor scenery and seating. The inside is much like being in a someone's house, but bustling with people. The food was solid and tasty. They're well prepared to churn folks in and out for the theatre as well.

I hate to give this place a mediocre/average review. I've been to Off Vince many times in the past and enjoyed my meal there. Maybe this was an "off" day but I was there for a business lunch and found the food to be quite average. The delicious mushroom soup was barely warm. I sent it back to be heated... More

Off Vine is located just south of Sunset and Vine. It is a well staffed traditional dining experience (with beer/wine only, though--no liquor) in an older two story house. The service was excellent on a Sunday late afternoon for pre-theater dining before a show at the Pantages Theater, just two (long) blocks north on Vine at Hollywood Blvd. Six of... More

It was a lovely evening in L.A. and we were out with the family and baby. We ate outside under decorative lights and the skies of Southern California! Everyone loved the food, the service and the fact that there was enough space that our 2 year old did not disturb. I think we've found a regular place to eat that... More
