Description: It was in May of 1989 that we at Off Vine Restaurant first opened our broad oak door to the guests we have come to welcome as friends and family from around Hollywood and around the world. Our home was built in 1908 in the arts & crafts style, the hallmark of comfort and fine handicraft on a very human scale. We have taken the Arts & Crafts sensibility as our own. We serve California American cuisine with an homage to the comfort foods, unstinting portions and simple elegance of the finest home kitchens across the country. And we serve it for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Come enjoy us whatever mood you"re in: a cozy rendezvous by the fireplace, a friendly meal in our vine-wrapped outdoor garden or a celebration with all your friends and family in our private room upstairs with views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park Observatory. Walking distance from the Pantages Theatre, the Arc-Light Theatres, and Palladium we are proud to be in the heart of Hollywood

We had brunch here - four of us. The Bloody Mary or Mimosa choice was really good. All of the food was excellent, no complaints from any of us. The restaurant itself is so cozy, but don't sit upstairs, make sure you sit somewhere downstairs in the main part. We've only had brunch here so that is was we are... More

Wonderful 1900's bungalow just off Sunset. Plenty of valet parking options close by. Loved the smell of jasmine as you entered under arbor. Very charming, lots of spring flowers in vases, fire in the fireplace! Very attentive staff Braised short ribs divine. Flat iron steak nothing too remarkable. Blackened shrimp cocktail delightful, as well as the Off Vine salad. Don't... More

I've been here for dinner, but this time I went with a cousin for brunch. I had the creamy, yummy Eggs Benedict; my cousin had a very interesting and tasty quinoa salad in a red bell pepper. We sat out in the garden in the sunshine; the waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we had quite a lovely meal... More

Highly recommend! Off Vine is located in a converted old house so it has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. It's very quiet, thus perfect for conversations. The wine selections, though not extensive, are enough to please any taste. The food choices are varied, and with our party of four, everyone was pleased with their selection. The prices are reasonable as well.... More

This is a great restaurant for meeting friends or business associates. Valet parking was $5 The restaurant is in a cute house. I had the Wild Salmon sautéed in a blueberry, pomegranate reduction - incredible. My business associate had the gnocchi that he raved about. A little pricey, but this is not your ordinary foo-foo cuisine. Really delicious!

Off Vine is a restaurant in a charming, converted house. in good weather, one can dine in the yard out front. Since it was drizzling (yes, in LA!) we went up the front steps to the reception desk, and were greeted by a very friendly host who made us feel right at home! There were four of us for dinner;... Be sure to place an order for dessert before ordering dinner - the souffle's are incredible! Everything on the menu is amazing, the service is perfection and the staff/owner are all very friendly and personable. I actually arrived 20 minutes before they opened and they invited me in and offered me iced tea or coffee while I waited for my... More

Had dinner here with a local friend. It's a gem, only known by locals. Inside or outside terrace, fireplace. Seats about 40 inside. Great food and service.

Went here for Sunday Brunch last weekend. I like the restaurant is unique as it is actually set in a home. The location is right off busy Sunset which I like. Valet or Lot parking was $5 which I thought was not to bad considering the location. Anyhow, they give you some warm carrot bread to start and it was... More

Like others we needed to dine before the theater---we found this place by way of a parking offer from the venue. We were very pleased. The food is very good and well priced. Our server, Trevor, was very attentive and at ease in answering our questions about the menu. It is a great place to have a leisurely glass of... More
