small but perfectly formed!

want to eat somewhere that has the feeling of home but with excellent food, great service and the odd celebrity? Try Off Vine. Prices are reasonable but the ambience is great and the food just about perfect. Definitely worth a try.

This was once the private two-story residence of a Hollywood mover and shaker. He had his home renovated into a charming and cozy eatery with very good food. Pass on the salads but embrace their fabulous chicken served with a bearnaise sauce, homemade mashed potatoes and crispy green beans. Be sure and order your souffles early. The chocolate was good,... We had Saturday matinee tickets to see Wicked at the Pantages Theater. Restaurant selections close to the theater are limited. We thought this was a very good choice. Charming 1908 house that is now a restaurant. On weekends they serve Brunch with bottomless mimosas. Monday through Friday they serve lunch and dinner. Luckily, on their Brunch menu they had some... Went to Off Vine based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. It is set in a craftsmen home so it is very quaint. Dinner was very good, and the souffle for dessert was outstanding. It was then a three block distance to the Pantages. Would highly recommend. Only complaint is that they do not have a full bar, but... More

We were looking forward to trying out Off Vine. The service was great, although a bit rushed. The food was good, just not great. The appetizers and the main courses were not served hot. Our party gave their meals a 6 to an 8. We really wish it had been better as we loved the setting.

This is a secret hideaway. It's in a little craftsman house. The food is great and service is excellent.

We selected Off Vine because we didn't want an 'over the top' meal, just good food in a nice atmosphere. The service was good, they happily split our orders to share for a small fee (some places are not pleasant about this). The wine selection was also quite nice. The atmosphere is very intimate, the holiday decorations were particularly nice... More

My daughter and I went to this restaurant before show at the Pantages. (be sure to make a reservation!) It's in a beautiful quaint 2 story house that reminded me of New England, and the food and service was wonderful. We especially liked our server, Annie, who was as lovely as the house. Food was excellent, with huge servings. Unfortuntunately,... More

One of the things that I appreciate (along with good food and service) in a restaurant is that it isn't loud - that I can hear everyone in my party without straining. Off Vine is just that sort of place. Small, quiet, (maybe even romantic) with excellent food and service. Next time in LA we'll definitely be back.

Today I celebrated my Birthday, I searched local restaurants that looked worth a try, and came across Off Vine.. Tonight was Monday , 1/2 price night so our total bill for 4 came out to under $70.. amazing! We each had a generous portion of our entree, mine was pecan encrusted Chicken with Mashed Portatoes and green beans. Comfort food... More
