This is a Los Angeles institution. The restaurant has been around for 80+ years and serves up a variety of steaks and seafood. It is on the pricey side, but the meals are always good. I ate there for breakfast and for dinner because my husband was getting operated on at a nearby hospital. You can call ahead and pick up the food which they beautifully boxed up for you. On the expensive side. more

What a disappointment! I expect superb service at a place this pricey. What we got was mediocre food, inferior service and a bill that made me choke. I had to clear my own empty plate from the table, I sat for 10 minutes with an empty water glass, after requesting more water, and most notable was the fine wine dribbling... more
