Back in time but great steaks

We came in quite early so it was relatively quite. When you enter, it feels like you used a time machine and went back five or six decades. Very friendly and patient staff. These people know steaks! Absolutely mouthwatering!

Old school steakhouse...It's been here for 62 years and counting Located in Ktown with an eclectic clientele Parking is a challenge except they have inexpensive valet Dark dark dark on entering. Dim lights, dark woods and red booths tell me I'm in a real steakhouse. Service was excellent and food was good. It was lunch so we had a burger... More

Sometimes old school means it used to be good. But it is good.. it is old school and it is fun and delicious. Love the place and the martinis.. it is not one of those places with 1,000 wines.. but it is where you have your martini with you steak.

I arrived as a solo diner. I was taken up two floors to a room so dark I had to switch the torch app on my phone to read the menu. Dark red leather booths surrounded the room which was set out for a large birthday party which attended later. Very friendly, attentive staff and a delicious melt in the... More

Nothing to look at from the outside but a fine dining last century ambiance on the inside. The steak was fantastic as was the martini and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely return.

It's dark, wood paneled and looks like something out of the movie LA Confidential. But the steak is excellent - well cooked, served hot. The service is right on. Way better than it looks from the outside.

The perfect cocktail, your choice of steaks, choice of potatoes and a red leather booth. What else do you need?

The three partners who own and run Channel 70 Video Productions are all 60+ and enjoy the old ways. Taylor's provides the quality food, service, and wonderful atmosphere of yesteryear. We can't get enough of this place.

It is not surprising that this is a crowded resturant even at night when most workers have left the office district. This is an old style resturant in which waitresses and waiters have worked for decades. The steaks are exactly what they should be, both in quality and quantity. They come with French fries or baked potatoes. There is a... More

Love this place and I am sorry I've been in LA for 25 years and haven't eaten here. I've been to the trendy steakhouses, newly built and designed, with terrible acoustics, expensive drinks, and very expensive (although delicious) steak. I far prefer the experience I had at Taylor's. First, you enter a dark paneled bar and can see the big... More
