Amazingly good.

It was close to the hotel, It is very large and an open kitchen, it has a great assortment of great seafood. I was part of a large group with meetings at the Biltmore and most attendees ate at the Water grill at least two or three times. One night I just went in for their key lime pie it... read more

I happen to be in LA for a business conference and a friend told me about the Water Grill and you have to check it out. So, I went (and then went a second time while there) and it is the best crabcake and King Crab Legs that I have ever had (and I eat a lot of seafood in... More

Had not been to the Water Grill in many years but had very fond memories. Sad to say our meal was rather disappointing. Not sure whether I've changed or they have. It felt like most of the offerings had been brought in from quite a distance. One of the great things about CA fish is that it's pretty local and... More

Had a very forgettable dinner there last week - went there a few years ago and it was superb - fancy and top drawer. Now it is a noisy bar/reataurant with so-so food - I am glad the new owners are getting rich on their business model, but I was VERY disappointed. If you are looking for a top-shelf dinner... More

The Warer Grill is consistantly good, even after all these years. I haven't been there in ten years, but went last night and was pleasantly surprised that the wait staff and good we're as good as I rembember

A great raw bar, but otherwise pretty mundane seafood and a very expensive wine list. We were told that it was one of LA's best seafood restaurants. It may be, but we were not impressed.

The Water Grill is the "first class - go to" seafood place downtown. This is the traditional great seafood restaurant without kitch and without crazy. The food is fresh and well prepared. The menu is exemplary and the chef does not get in the way. If you want the latest and newest and craziest go to the latest craze; if... More

Outstanding food and service! Great job with all types of seafood! Start off with a few great cocktails at the bar to wind down and power up for dinner!

The food was fantastic but very rich. The restaurant was very loud, so maybe try to get a booth instead of a table. Try the bread pudding!

I'd passed on this place a few times because it had sports channels on loads of TVs throughout. I do realise that this would serious attract some people, my husband for one. Anyhow we'd read that the seafood was good so my daughter and I gave it a whirl for dinner. We had a Saturday night reservation at 7.45 and... More
