I hadn't been to LA in several years but I knew Roscoe's would be my first stop. My teenagers had never experienced Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles so I had to take them there. Yes, it's an experience! It was better than I remembered. Waffles were good but the chicken was excellent - hot and crisp - nothing overdone!!! I like... More

In addition to serving the proverbial chicken and waffles, other soul food items are available. The restaurant was crowded but the hostess was very efficient and organized so the wait was not long. The waffles were thin so I thought I would not like them, but the waffle mix resulted in a waffle with a really good, unique flavor. The... More

House of CHICKEN and WAFFLES. Please, yes order that and the yummy chessy eggs with onions. Get one of their sweet signature drinks sunrise, sunset or Lisa's delight and you will be happy. I've tried a few of the other items at several locations and hmmmm no, don't do it. The mac and cheese, blah greens blah as well. Stick... More

Always heard about this place, and vowed that if I ever visited LA again, I would eat here. Well I got my chance. It was sooooo good. The chicken compliments the waffles, or do the waffles compliment the fried chicken? I don't know, but what I do know is the mixture of syrup, butter and a little hot sauce makes... More

I Love Love Love Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.... My first time in LA and all I kept saying is this is where I wanted to go. And I was not disappointed. Got the "Obama" Special (3 wings and a waffle) nice size wings, waffle was good. Service was good, they were very nice we had a group of 8. And... More

This is a niche restaurant, good for folks who enjoy deep-fried chicken and carbohydrates. Fresh salads and vegetables are not on the menu. The food was bland and unimaginative. The service was good, and the people were friendly. Considering selection and quality, it was good value. We would not recommend this restaurant for travelers looking for a good, balanced meal... Great fried chicken, average waffle, horrible service. If you are a fried chicken lover than I would suggest you give it a try. Otherwise, it may not be worth your time. The fried chicken is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Everything else on the menu was average. The service was my biggest complaint, super slow, and they will mess up your... More

The food is special the wait staff is wonderful, but the pricing is out of this world now the menu on the site might say $16.00 for a half a chicken and a waffle but its really 18 dollars and some change so just imagine taking your family along. ...it's going to be pricey!!!!!

The fried chicken in this place was just ok but very expensive. 1/2 chicken and one side of greens was $25 with tip. That is crazy for fried chicken that is good but not great. Chicken was very crispy on outside but inside was somewhat dry. I would likely not go back to this restaurant unless I really had a... More
