The food was not that great but the portions were huge. The service was average. Their wine selection was really good and I enjoyed some Californian wine.

(Love the white chocolate fortune cookies!) Sit by the window, if you can. Fun to look out & the window booths are super-comfortable. We always have good food here, although the cilantro dumplings aren't nearly as good as we used to get from Chin Chin on Sunset 20 years ago. Favorites are Chinese Chicken Salad, crab/cream cheese wontons, Main Mein... More

Came here with my brother yesterday. Surly kitchen staff opened the door - not a great start. The place was just about empty, but yet the service was still slow - how does that work? The food though, wow, it was horrible. The starter spring roll had a sauce that completely overpowered any semblance of taste in the roll itself.... More

Got into here without a booking on a Saturday night, which I guess should have told me eveything! Just like to point out that this is the restaurant on Sunset Blvd, on the Sunset plaza. Really poor food. the Pad Thai was tasteless and was nothing like a Pad Thai should be. I had the dumplings, which were completely lacking... More

ChinChin used to be quite something - great food and a great scene with celebs all over the place. Nowadays the food is average, sometimes great and sometimes pretty bad, but you still see a celeb from time to time.

The food here is excellent. We all had the chinese chicken salad and loved it. The salad is fresh and huge. Spring rolls are very tasty to as an apetizer. The parking is easy - for Los Angeles and we did not have to wait to be seated even though they were very busy. Our waitress Stella was a blast... More

This was my first visit to Los Angeles and wanted to experience what eating in a hip restaurant in Hollywood was like. Chin Chin didn't let us down, the food was really good and there were a wide range of choices to satisfy nearlly anyone in the mood for Chinese. We loved sitting on the sunset strip getting a bite... I love Chin-Chin! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is great. I usually just order lots of plates of dim-sum and don't even bother with a proper entree, although the Chow Fun is good. My favourite dim sum dishes are the SZECHUAN DUMPLINGS, HAR GOW and SHRIMP TOAST.

This restaurant is definitely one of our "favs" in Los Angeles, We always go to the one on Sunset if we have time. We really liek everything on the menu so it is not always easy to choose one item. We kill for the Chinese Chicken Salad! It is a great atmosphere and the service is friendly and fast!
