Interesting, well priced menu with tasty results

Café Bizou is always packed with good reason. They have a menu with something for everyone at excellent prices and the food is delicious. Great place for a nice evening out. Linen table clothes, napkins, and candle lite. Traditional full bar. Great food. Steak and fish all good. $1 soup or salad with meal. Great value. Birthday person receives a delicious, free full size piece of flourless chocolate. cake. Great place for celebrations. Located in historic house, dark stairway entrance. A little tricky for anyone... Went to celebrate a 60th Birthday four of us, booked for 8pm but didn't get seated until 8.50pm! Once seated service and food moved smoothly to the extent that once completed Appetizer, entre arrived immediately. Food was very tasty and we had our own wine. It would have been a nice gesture if a complimentary glass of wine was offered... More

We took our 84 year-old friend back here for her birthday - her choice. The lunch time set menu is good value and varied. The only spoiler is the service. Our server just seemed to throw the plates down on the table. Such a shame. Still, our birthday girl enjoyed her lunch.

It's hard to find a pretty French restaurant serving superb food for less than $50.00 a person. Hosting a Tuesday-evening dinner for four, the place was jumping, in a sedate way, each table filled with diners who looked like "regulars". Good acoustics allowed for easy conversation with my table mates. Food service was well-paced, despite the full house of patrons.... More

Eaten here many times, and the combination of food price and quality is second to none in the LA area. Make a reservation as the secret is out, you will not be disappointed. The steak au pauve is my favorite.

A favorite spot with traditional French selections plus an assortment of food choices that will be certain to satisfy everyone. I particularly enjoy grazing from the salad choices, but recently tried a chicken pasta with some personal selections (penne and a spicy arrabiatta sauce that was delightful). Service is attentive, and it's a good spot for business meetings, too.
