OK for a breakfast meeting, but nothing special

We had a breakfast meeting in a private room. The food was served buffet style, and it was OK, but nothing to write home about. Being a breakfast meeting, everyone wanted coffee, and the coffee urns ran out a couple of times. The server was on top of thing when the plates needed to be cleared... read more

having checked in at the hotel we decided to get a bite to eat, we walked by a handful of restaurants and finally decided to eat here.. it was not a good start, when two servers argue in front of us who is going to be our server, and not in a way that they want to, more so they... More

Arrived for our reservations a few minutes late in typical LA fashion, and was told we were late... but there was no line and plenty of open tables... We were seated promptly and given menus, but no server stopped, with four separate servers passing by. Decided to leave after 15 minutes of being ignored. The Manager was at the door... More

I went there 3X and had great service, good service and poor service depending on the day...so that is mixed, but the food was delicious every time. I would recommend it but the service may be lame depending on who is working.

Nice friendly staff and lovely fresh food! We were jet lagged when we arrived here but the staff were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend trying here!

My wife and I had breakfast here during Valentines Day weekend. My wife ordered an omelet and I had a meat skillet. The food was above average but the portions were on the small side. Nice place tho.

This was my first time eating at The Farm even though the restaurant has had a presence in Los Angeles for years. The fried chicken I had was some of the best I’ve ever had – and I’m from the South. I wish I would have had room for dessert, but the portion was so large I had no room... More

A good place to grab a relaxed meal. I really enjoyed my lobster salad and my wife enjoyed her hamburger. The atmosphere was relaxed despite it being a busy day in the area. A well-rounded menu, tasty desserts and a friendly staff.

I had a hanger steak that was tough, not quite prepared the way that I asked and was quite bland. As it was the most expensive item on the menu I was hesitant to order it but I don't eat seafood or veggie-heavy plates, so I wasn't left with much choice. I was highly disappointed. The cocktail that I had... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
