Delicious food, lovely owners

My friend who is local to Melrose Ave brought me here. Love the eclectic/vintage mexican decor. The waitstaff and owners are very pleasant. First time at this restaurant and it was excellent! I had the fish tacos which came with the best rice, beans & guacamole. Also had a strawberry margarita which was delicious, the service was great, our waiter was superb. A great place and we will return!

Stopped off the city bus tour at Melrose. Very warm welcome and fantastic red snapper on the specials menu. What a treat. Lovely kick to the homemade salsa. Best food we have had in LA so far.

Just because there was a parking place in front I found a place that is my new home for Mexican food in Los Angeles! Great full menu, reasonable prices, family owned and operated. Most impressive? The BEST MOLE I've found anywhere in the United States and most of Mexico.

Who would expect to find a reasonably-priced Mexican restaurant on Melrose Ave in Hollywood? Antonio's is just that -- good food, wonderful margaritas, and good service. I highly recommend it.

Want a burrito? At Antonio's you'll find it on the menu between the chicken sandwich and the burger and fries. Antonio's has tacos and enchiladas, but the menu focuses on Monterrey and Mexico City. The menu cycles through Mexico City specialties, such as Tamales de Frijoles and Ropa Vieja (beef, peppers, raisins, tomatoes, and other spices) by the day of... More

Service was excellent, food was OK+. We were there on a Sunday evening and there was only one other table with customers. It was tasty, but nothing special. Good vibe in the place, but perhaps tired with the younger set.

Referred to Antonio's by a trusted foodie, we were pleasantly surprised. We were both greeted and sat by Antonio himself, a living legend! The atmosphere resembles a true mexican-style abode, very homey. There is a main room up front, a bar area to sit at, and back room for tequila tastings! Being a native LA local, we've had our fare... More
