Pancakes galore

If you love pancakes, this is a place for you! An order comes with a stack of 3 huge pancakes, enough to feed 4. However you can ask for just one pancake. the peanut bubba french toast was my favorite, custardy middle with crunchy top, definitely recommend. We also tried an omelette, which was ok... read more

Read up about this place and heard it was "the" breakfast place to go to in Hollywood. Well it definitely was! Kids had stacks of huge pancakes which defeated them (but which they loved). I had the eggs benedict on ham and potatoes and my wife had lox on onion and tomato with over easy eggs. All fabulous. Coffee was... More

Come during the week, and you wont have the long lines that snake around the sidewalk out side. "Mommas" french toast is the best! The portions are huge. The pancakes cover the whole plate. It is noisy inside, poeple talking and music, but that kind of adds to the atmosphere. Menu is extensive, sandwhiches, burgers, and brakfast items.

This place has some awesome breakfast options. Be prepared to wait though if you go on the weekend or a holiday, the line goes to the end of the block, but its really worth it. I've tried at least half the menu at this point and so far everything has been really good eats. The omelets are hardy and very... More

My favorite go to place for breakfast. I always get the Golden Ticket. Sooooooooooooooooo good!! Always crowded and a long wait but worth the wait. Or try to get there really early! Sunrise Skillet is also fab. So, is the Peanut Butter Crunch French Toast! Everything is basically good here!

I always take out of town guests and co-workers to The Griddle because no one ever believes that pancakes can be as large as you car steering wheel nor do they believe you can get a stack of them. Delicious taste is as large as the pancake itself.

Ok I am a stickler for waiters who can read my mind and that's what I got! I mean I literally had a thought and my waited was on it. Pretty freaky! Besides the cool waitstaff our breakfast was delicious! I had the Bailey's/Kahlua Pancakes which were bigger than my head! I mean huge! But they were sooooo darn good!... More

Huge portions, but delicious! The French press coffee was amazing. Their bacon was out of this world and the French toast was the best. A must eat while in LA!

There is always a line unless you go at 7am. Get the grandmas French toast. It's the best French toast you've ever had before. Friendly staff and delicious food. A must

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
