Ive been coming here for years and never knew it was number 1 on Tripadvisor. Makes total sense! I have been here so many times I think I have been through the whole menu. I banana pancakes are ordered everytime no matter what! I would eat these for dinner....Its a must for breakfast!

Ate the best peanut butter french toast. A real treat in a cute space with good atmosphere. Totally recommend if youre in the neighbourhood.

Best french toast I have ever had. This French toast will change your life! If you're feeling adventurous, order strawberries and whipped cream on the side--skip the syrup!

I went 3 times already to this restaurant in 3 different visits to LA, where my daughters live. It is very popular among young people, specially for breakfast. The sizes of the dishes are huge and they use to share. I remember mostly a delicious burger that I had there. The quantity of fries accompanying my burger alone, where enough... More

My sister and I ate here after looking at Trip Advisor and seeing great reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food was delicious (although we definitely ordered too much as the portions are huge). Try the banana pancakes and their French toast (yum)! Good value for money. Definitely recommended this place for brunch.

Surprised that there was quite a wait on a Saturday morning but we waited around 40 minutes for a table for 2 people. The host was great about keeping you informed. The place is decorated quite trendy. There is a wrap around bar-like station that is cute but very uncomfortable to sit at. Honestly, if they took it out, there... More

My family and I visited the Griddle Café for breakfast on 2 different occasions. The first experience was okay - though the food was subpar, and they neglected to bring my chicken breast that I ordered (they only have pork products for breakfast meat, and my family doesn't eat pork). The second experience was absolutely horrible! We went back because... More

Chocolate and Banana pancakes coupled with French pressed coffee, yum yum - there's no better way to start the day and because the majority of people living in LA are on the Atkins you're always guaranteed a seat. Breakfast is my favourite meal or the day (another trait I share with Leslie Knope), this place puts JJ's diner to shame.... More

Make sure that you arrive early OR be prepared to wait in line. The food is sooooo good that there is usually a long line to get in. Luckily for us we knew someone so we did not have to wait. The portion sizes are soooo big that you can share. My friend ordered a pancake that was the size... More
