Those Pancakes Tho.

If you're looking for untraditional you need to swing by The Griddle. You'll be wowed by the menu of oversized breakfast items. Pretty stellar service as well!

By far some of the biggest plates of pancakes and french toast that you will ever have. The food is good and worth the 20 minute wait that we had. It would not be worth an hour+ wait in my opinion. You should plan to arrive before 10 if on a weekend.

Usually wouldn't queue but this place was recommended as a must do when in LA so we decided to wait. People were queuing down the street but we got lucky & seated outside within 15 minutes. Great menu & portions were huge - too big to finish. Mimosas were buy 1 get 1 free - great. A very enjoyable brunch... More

I imagine hip restaurants from the 1950's were a lot like this place. The food is amazing and the waiters are all well trained. It's a casual fun atmosphere. Just reading the menu was fun. It was hard to pick just one plate to eat. We all ordered separate plates but shared the red velvet pancake. I recommend trying the... More

This was by far the best breakfast I have had, we ordered the banana pancake, French toast and The Chicago and all were amazing! The value for money was also incredible - will definitely go back

Went on the advice of our hotel concierge at the Beverly Hilton. Put in our reservations on a saturday morning. Over and hour wait. Host said we would have time to check out Grauman's Chinese Theatre, so we left and returned an hour later. Waited another 20-30 minutes. Seated, restaurant is crowded. But it is worth the wait. My son... More

Come here if you're a breakfast lover. Bring your appetite so you can tackle the ultra large portions of pancake pleasure. Too many varieties from which to choose. What it needs is a pancake sampler offering. It's worth the long wait in line as your tummy will be rewarded.

If you're decided to check this place out on a weekend, be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Also if you can go with a group of at least four people. The portions are huge and if you want to try and settle the savory vs. sweet brunch/breakfast conundrum it will help to have more people to share. Of... More

The huge pancake stacks here are so delectable. You will only manage to finish a half or less by yourself so I recommend sharing. The short wait outside was definitely worth it! The place is always buzzing and it's understandable why. Unique and delicious. So many options and service is always good even though it's so busy and not a... More

Went a couple of weeks ago with son, daughter-in-law, and three grandsons. Waiter warned us that portions were gigantic, but we didn't listen. Ordering one pancake and splitting between two people would have been enough. They were very good and amazing variety, but really large. Added bonus was Sascha Baron Cohen and his daughter at next table--grandkids were all agog.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
