This was my second trip to The Griddle and it was beyond all expectations! Sat outside on Sunset last trip but enjoyed a great indoor booth this time! I have only been for breakfast and recommend it highly ! The menu is outrageous...whether you crave savory or sweet The Griddle has you covered! The crazy pancakes are as big as... More

Every trip we make to LA includes breakfast at The Griddle. Me being a nutella freak, always order the Nutella French Toast. 2 genorous slices of bread with a dollop of cream and lashings of Nutella make 5his a meal that will keep the hunger bug at bay until well after lunch. Looking forward to the next trip in Feb... More

So many amazing reviews... and they were right!! Good service and amazing food . One slight 'criticism' seriously how big do serving sizes have to be before they are too big!! A must for anyone visiting LA!

This place has a cool and relaxed vibe. The smell of fresh coffee hits you as you walk through the door... The breakfast was delicious! The service was fast, considering how busy the place was. I ordered the French toast and was certainly not disappointed. The pancakes looked amazing - but very big portion maybe enough to share! Left feeling... More

Both times I have been in LA, I have had to go for pancakes at The Griddle Cafe and I would go back again and again! Excellent breakfast that fills you up for the day, the pancakes are huge and really fluffy. I have also been told the french toast is amazing here too so really nothing to fault, making... More

The Griddle Cafe is a small restaurant with a coffee shop throw back feel. The minimalist decorations makes you realize you are in a modern eatery but what you really want is the food. Enormous plate size pancakes with generous sides and large omelettes. Red Velvet pancakes clearly a recent menu addition were spectacular. The BLUESberry pancakes were overwhelming with... More

This place has a great menu, particularly if you like pancakes! It does have other great dishes too (eg tortilla and egg based) and some mean cocktails. It can get very busy though, so inside can get a bit stuffy and outside tables are limited and can lead to long waiting times. Thoroughly recommended though.

OK, everyone else said it too, but it is true. Big Portions. We made sure not to go on a weekend, and got space at the counter. The pancakes are wonderful. My teenagers ordered the burgers and said they were great as well.

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
