Impressive pancakes.

Stick with the house speciality pancakes and waffles. Fantastic The egg dishes are uninspired. The Tequilla Sunrise is drowning in canned sauce. Likewise the Fiesta Scramble was just so-so. Generous French press coffee was a treat.

Very busy on a Wednesday at 10:30, but got our party of five seated immediately. Fast service, attentive staff, and the food was very good. The best pancakes ever. Huge servings-honestly, 2 or 3 people should split the pancakes. Fries are good and very plentiful, we also got a burger that was really good. And the best part was that... More

I visited this restaurant on Saturday, November 14th while on vacation in LA. Food was great...service not so much. The person at the door rushes u in and u can't be seated until your entire party is there....even if 2 of ur 4 is running across the street. This didn't sit well with me at all! Banana pancakes were sooooo... More

1. Have one person in your party jump out and get your name on the wait list while somebody else parks the car. 2. Have cash with you so that you can lean over to a neighboring table and ask for 1/2 or 1/3 of their order. 3. I would recommend one order of pancakes for a group of four... More

Griddle Cafe was a first stop on a road trip along the CA coast, and what a way to start. Who wouldn't want to experience the legend of pancakes the size of sewer caps? One friend ordered original pancakes...when three sewer cap sized original pancakes arrived on his plate, panic set in that maybe we should have shared. Thankfully only... More

Oh how I often drool over thoughts of food from The Griddle Café, sadly though, I live on the East Coast. On our recent trip to LA, there was no question as where our first meal would be had…The Griddle Café, of course. We arrived around 230pm on a Tuesday afternoon, to find the place less crowded than during our... More

There are enough reviews on the food and pancakes to know they are good. Pancakes are insane and if i went again i would request to have one as i wasted the other 2. The menu is full of choice and i wanted to order so many things. I went on a random week day and there was no que... More

I cannot complain about the food but I have had breakfast equally good or better elsewhere without having to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for a table... and that was just for three people to sit at the counter! This was supposed to be a must-do in LA and I am not all that impressed. The pancakes were average... More

The food is really great. The pancakes are amazing. and if something isn't on the menu you can always get a side of it. The service is so-so... don't really make you feel welcome. but I really enjoyed the breakfast.

Thank Daniel B
