Always delicious, still among my favorites

This is a small restaurant near the Grove with valet parking and the owner/chef on the premises. They've added a few bar seats so you could try dropping in. The florentine steak is cooked perfectly here. I love the chopped salad with avacado and pistashios. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta. This... read more

O how we love Angelini. Each time we're in LA, one dinner night is always reserved for Angelini. Tight seating, but you know when your whole experience is so enjoyable, this doesn't seem to bother us too much. In general, lovely upbeat atmosphere and dishes to die for. Lived in Italy for 3 months, so this place hits "home". Sea... More

I've been a fan of Gino Angelini for several years and Angelini Osteria is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. I'm there at least twice a month with friends, family or wine groups. It's crazy busy at night, less so at lunch, and very noisy. But the food is very good and the vibe is the same as you would... More

The only negative with this restaurant is the noise level. I am at a loss as to why anyone thinks it's fun to have to scream your conversation. That's the only reason I'm here a couple of times a month instead of once a week or more. The food and service are always A-plus, and the wine list is excellent.... More

One of the best Italian restaurants in LA. Very crowded and loud, but worth the food. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the menu and food in general. The only thing I would change is the table size is small and may feel crumpled. They need a bigger spot.

I have been dining at Angelini Osteria since it opened. The cuisine is far and away among the best Italian in not only Los Angeles but anywhere outside of Italy. Attention to preparation is outstanding and the choices are inspired, not ordinary whatsoever. The service is attentive and the restaurant always attracts an engaging crowd of diners. It is a... After reading multiple good reviews of this restaurant, I decided to take my colleague who was visiting here from Italy. Due to the fact that he owns two restaurants in Alba, an important wine and food region in Italy, I have experienced him to be very discerning Quite honestly this restaurant did not make the cut for either of us.... This is perhaps the most authentic Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. I've been to Italy over 20 times and my search fo authentic Italliian ended here.

Chef, Gino Angelini, is cooking himself amazing dishes, ranging from fegatinni chicken livers to all kinds of pasta, bransino under sea-salt crust and many, many other incredible dishes. He is definitely one of the best cooks in town. Make reservations well in advance, as restaurant is always packed.
