This was our second trip to the area our last was 8 years ago and I remember how good the food here. We went there as soon as we arrived and checked in. The place did not disappoint us. The food and the prices are still excellent. Difinite repeater.

Headed off Hollywood Blvd. In search of a late lunch. This restaurant seems innocuous from the outside (across the street from a strip club) but inside, all the tables were packed. I had a spicy charbroiled shrimp dish and he had a salmon sandwich. Both were very tasty. I only wish there were more cocktails to choose from. Also, the... More

Thank you for the kind words! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed our food and cocktail. However, as soon we received your comments we had the wrong impression that you were not satisfied because you rated us only one point out of five. So, if that was an honest mistake could you please update the rates? Thank you for... More

We order food for delivery but when it arrive it was cold. The burgers that we ordered were average and the pizza was also cold had to warm up in the microwave. I wouldn't order food from this place again, lucky that we are on our way back to Australia.

I loved this restaurant from the minute I walked in. It's quaint, clean and the food is delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to make sure we were enjoying everything. The food portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. We certainly got our money's worth and would definitely eat here again.

Bossa Nova was advertised as Brazilian cuisine, but there are plenty of familiar dishes on the menu. This is a really great restaurant to go for dinner with a great range of seriously tasty options.

We stopped by Bossa Nova for a late lunch before heading downtown to a Dodgers game. The place wasn't super busy and we got a seat outside which was nice for people watching. Everything he had to eat was great. They made a slight mistake on my girlfriends order fixed it right away. Will be going back next time in... More

Dropped in here for dinner on basis of other TA reviews and was glad I did. The service and food was excellent. Ordered the most popular dish on menu chicken and hot peppers in Madeira sauce and it was delicious, spicy but not too hot. Overall everything was perfect, highly recommended

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
