Beware of bad service.

I had eaten here before and the food was pretty good. The second time with my family was an utter disappointment. We had non-existant service and when we brought it to the attention of the manager, they simply threw their hands up as is to say "too bad, what do you want me to do"? When I mentioned... read more

We came to Lilly's for dessert but ended up ordering an appetizer as well. The Escargot is amazing here! The staff seated us near a heater as I mentioned I was cold which ended up being perfect! The desserts were all amazing and rich. The bread pudding and the Ile Flottante were favorites! The only drawback was that the server... More

So I'm getting sentimental b/c I'm leaving LA after 10 years to live in Chicago for work. Lilly's holds fond memories and never disappoints. I've been there for parties, dinners with co-workers, lunch with my sister, and romantic dinners in the patio with my husband. They are always accommodating however large and rambunctious the party size is, and will make... More

Menu maybe French but nothing else was French. Bad service. Mediocre food. Poor aesthetics. Our First and last visit visit.

Good food with a French slant in a nice setting. Good service and friendly personnel.

This French “want be” restaurant has a lot to learn before even getting close to a good restaurant, the only think they are getting close to a French restaurant is the poor service and that was one of the “tradition” of the French food establishment and the French accent of the waitress. We were 4 couples for dinner on Saturday... More

This is a hard review to write. I usually do not lower my stars on based on service-however our service was horrible. The waitress had the personality of a gnat-she approached the table in a drone voice with a a bored, I wish I was somewhere else attitude. Talking to her was akin to pulling teeth. For a Saturday night... More

After a recommendation I had lunch at Lilly's. And OMG the French food exactly the way I like... basic recipes with excellent quality ingredients... I had the "onglet à l'échalote" and a "crème brûlée" for desert... Very friendly service. I'll go back again, again and again :)))

I would not recommend this restaurant. It is over priced and the food was only mediocre. Our waitress was terrible. She corrected our pronunciation of "frites" and never came back to check if we needed anything. We asked the bus boy for ketchup, which he never brought and finally flagged down our waitress to help us who actually rolled her... More

If you look for something else than junk food in Venice, you defintely need to lead to Llly. We had a wonderful lunch for a bargain price and with the swetest French waiter ever. They were there just for us and made us feel cuddled and pampared at any time. Best caffè macchiato in town and I'm italian, so believe... More
