After a full day out with the kids I chose to go to this place. When I got there and saw that I'd have to order at the counter I was afraid it was going to be hard with the kids running around and crying because they were hungry. After managing to order and pay we sat down and the... More

Visited Joan's on Third twice during a recent weekend stay in Los Angeles. Outdoor seating available both times, before food arrived, and great people watching location. Walking distance from where we stayed, so parking was not an issue for us.

I am reviewing the bakery for the new Joan's on Third in Studio City. First of all, the restaurant is beautiful--large, airy, clean, sleek and inviting. I imagine that parking could be a problem but I parked on Ventura and walked. I only ordered bakery items and coffee to go so I can't say what their menu items are like.... More

Been coming here for years. It really is the best spot for breakfast and friends. I will come here sometimes for lunch and its great too. I love the vibe, the people are so nice and LA normally has terrible service. I am obsessed with the pancakes and I love the decor. Please make sure and know it is noisy.... More

Not much on amenities, and not always nearly enough seating in this cafeteria style sandwich shop. Parking in the area isn't all that great, either. But it's worth it for the lunches. Anything they make with turkey is awesome, but I'm also partial to the pastrami.

On the forward edge of California hip farm to table cuisine, the restaurant is a study in good taste. So is the food. It's not cheap, but it's incredibly good. Dining in the busy restaurant, it's fun to take in the boggling array of cheeses. It's a bustling place, great for brunch. It's an excellent catering option or order food... More

This location is a welcome addition to Studio City. The food ordered is, for the most part, delicious. And it's a bright, clean, and fun atmosphere. But please be aware that they are still working out the kinks in their service. Having traveled to Japan, I now understand what incredible service looks like. This location lacks that emphasis on service.... More

This place is stocked with delicious things to eat and drink.  It has a Euro feel in many ways, but pure LA.  High quality fine foods and snacks, jams, cheeses, fresh baked bread for grocery shopping on shelves along the walls and at all the counters.  Quince paste, creme fraiche, currant jelly. British, Italian and French grocery items. Olives, anchovies,... More

Awesome fresh sandwiches! We ate outside and it was beautiful LA weather. Very fresh produce, good service, and a great view of Hollywood. If you are coming to LA for a trip it would be a great casual place to eat!
