Awesome fresh sandwiches! We ate outside and it was beautiful LA weather. Very fresh produce, good service, and a great view of Hollywood. If you are coming to LA for a trip it would be a great casual place to eat!

If you are into creative and gourmet sandwiches, this place is for you. You walk up to the register to order and your order is brought to you. Service was excellent. The menu has at least two dozens gourmet sandwiches to choose from besides a dozen different breakfast dishes. There is also a coffee bar and a pastry case full... More

Chicken salad. That's my all time favorite. I know they just tossed in some greens and chicken, but they really make it work. It's the best!!! The service is very quick though. And the atmosphere is ok.

The food was delicious but the line was long. Would rather have been at my own table rather than sitting at a long farmer's table with ten other strangers. Loud. Great for takeout but not so great for eating there. Has a reputation so it's a popular place. Next time I would go down the block.

Upscale sandwich and salad shop. Nothing special and there are much better places in LA to get a good sandwich or a salad. You order from the counter, get a number, and then they bring you the food. Parking is a nightmare. Homemade potato chips are too greasy/salty. Hipster place to be seen. Very limited indoor seating so on a... More

Stayed next door in Orlando Hotel and breakfasted/brunched in Joan's. Cool spot with good food, coffee etc. Prices ok and staff efficient and friendly. Would put it on par with Toast which is up the street from it.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the price is fair for a really yummy and big sandwich. We had Maple chicken sandwich and tuna sandwich and both was delicious. The place is very busy but the service is fast and really kind.

Reminded me of Eataly in NYC. Granted it was close to lunch time but the staff could have explained the order and table delivery method better. The food was fresh and delicious, so one little staff complaint...

If you are familiar with Dean & DeLuca in Manhattan I think you can get the picture. Except, it is smaller and a bit more fancier... because, you know, it is 3rd street in Los Angeles ;) But seriously, it is a good looking place. Panini, and other sort of italian food are very good and the staff is nice.... More

It's very busy, but the service is fast. Fabulous bagels, croissants, etc. and lots of food to go for a picnic or take out.
