We have been here a few times while on an LA stopover. Its so yummy and inviting and good for kiddos and exactly what you want. Margaritas are good and chips and salsa are exactly how you want them... constantly being refilled! Will go again next time I am in LA!

I was in Los Angeles in June 2014. I eat at both Paco's Tacos restaurants. My favorite food there has to be the warm tortillas and salsa. I could not stop my self from eating the entire bowl. The hard shell beef and chicken tacos are great. They use real chicken and real shredded beef. Real authentic Mexican food.

This is a great Mexican restaurant-very simple decor and menu but food is excellent. Place can get very crowded on weekends-we ordered takeout but the wait on Saturday night when we were there was 40+ minutes. And parking can be a challenge on Centinela, but you can find spots on side streets.

Used to go here all the time, and love to go back when visiting LA. Took some friends/family recently. Can you be impressed with a simple mexican food restaurant...you sure can! I've seen great reviews over the years, and they deserve it. Decore is a little 'cheezy', but barely worth noting.

Started going here 30 years ago. It is exactly the same inside as it was 30 years ago- don't mess with a great thing. The food in my opinion is great and just what I want from a LA Mexican restaurant. The locals eat here and love it. Parking is quite rare- just look around the neighborhood for a spot.... More

Went to Paco's way back in the early 1990's. Many of the same staff are still there after all these years. The food is always great. We try to get next to the aquarium on the far side. You might wait for some time if you get there after 6:30pm but it is all worth it. If you do wait... More

Best tacos i have had in the US. The dishes, tortillas, atmosphere, seasoning, service, all made me feel back to my beloved Mexico! To my mexican friends, if you want hand made flour tortillas, those are GLORY!

Grew up in SoCal, been away for 15 years...this is exactly what I've been dreaming about! Got good vibes from the start - had to wait 20 minutes, we were led in past the old ladies making tortillas, the chips and salsa came immediately and we're very good. We ordered a pitcher of Margaritas and carne asada tacos. The carne... More

From throughout LA and beyond, people who enjoy truly authentic and delicious Mexican food drive the extra distance to Paco's Tacos. Oh yes, it was once the location for the filming of a Tom Cruise flick scene. But that's not why we, the faithful of Paco's for years, return time and again. Its because of the food, a blend of... Paco's Tacos is our favorite of the combo-plate, gooey cheese old-school Mexican restaurants on the West Side. As all the reviews attest, the freshly made corn and flour tortillas are superb. But a great deal of care is taken with all the dishes. The combo plates (you can propose your own, or there are a dozen suggestions on the menu)... More
