What a Gem! - Pacos Old School -Steak De Tampico

Go old school at Paco's and order off the menu. The photo shows the Steak De Tampico. Fresh tortillas are awesome, Chile Rellenos, Fish Tacos, enchiladas or tamales, you really can't go wrong. Then you add the tasty beverages and you have an afternoon. Enjoy. Note the parking sucks. You need to... read more

this is a very good option for Mexican food in LA. they serve large portions and it tastes good. I had the chimichanga and taco meal and outside of missing a little spice/heat it was delicious. I would definitely go again. another plus is they have very quick service.

I don't understand the hype. The wait time is horrible. The food is soso and a bit pricey. I wouldn't go back.

My parents came here when they first got married and they always went there on dates so they took me to reminisce about their old life. I can see now why they came here so often and raved about it so much. There is a lady in the middle of the restaurant who's job is to solely make fresh tortillas... More

This is a no frills hole in the wall place. The food is authentic, tasty and very well priced. Be sure to go early to get a table as it is VERY popular on weekends. Go there and order the burrito, the portion size is generous to say the least!

Went here on a week night with friends. Friendly, good vibe and pretty good Mexican food. Service was good and margaritas tasty. Good local place and will return.

I am not sure why this place is always packed and people rave about it. The food is fine, but certainly not worth a special trip for. The food was greasy so it was not the healthiest. I would go there again if I was in the area but it is certainly not worth a special trip.

The food is tasty, authentic, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, and there's also a bar area. The homemade flour tortillas are the best and you can watch them being made.

We had a very enjoyable meal at Paco's Tacos. There were lots of local residents enjoying Paco's. Service was great. Don't go for the decor. A little old, but fun. Food was very good - basic Mexican fare done nicely. I had a combination plate with a Tamale - it was great! The prices were reasonable. All in all a... More

We were in town visiting and Paco's was recommended. It was a Thursday night and the place was packed. The food was excellent. Some of us are gluten free and options were abundant. The fresh made corn tortillas served with chips while we waited for our entrée were fabulous. At the table we had enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos and... More
