Ok, it is my first chicken and waffles meal, but I'm betting I'm now spoiled. Ended up in the area due to crappy hotel accommodations and Panns was across the street. This made the sketchy area all worth it. Chicken was lightly fried, but crispy. Each piece was hot theu the whole meal, never cooled off. Tells me they fried... More

We were looking for a "local" place not far from the airport and we stumbled onto Pann's. It was just what we were looking for. It had people from all walks of life and it was bustling. Breakfast was perfect- with great coffee!

We went here for lunch and it is a casual dining diner atmosphere with decorations from 20 years ago. It is a Ladera Heights classic. Great soup and salad combo. Quick and helpful service.

LA is known for its chicken & waffles. Pann's is the best. I have tried many, but Pann's waffles and fried chicken never disappoints. They also have wonderful bisquits. Always busy, but worth it. Pick up a pie on the way out!

All smiles diner, heading to the airport stopped by to have some breakfast. A real old fashioned style diner serving the most scrumptious food. I was quite surprised to see people eating spicy chicken so early in the morning, mother smell was great and the taste buds we,re tantalised.,staff very friendly, the food was amazing, a great place to start the... We've been in the states for a week and we've visited several diners, and this one is by far the best we've been to! The shakes are thick & you get the big metal cup that gives you a whole other shake; the onion rings are huge and crunchy; the burgers have delicious beef and fresh salad; and the sandwiches... I liked the atmosphere with the old rack tunes playing. The food was good, and they actually cook the burgers to your liking. My patty melt was a perfect pink medium. My dining partners had breakfast entrees at 8:00 PM. Service was good, and we had large enough portions so that we all took some home. Prices in the moderate... More

Loved this place, retro but very clean. The food was fantastic, especially the chicken and waffles! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was juicy and served fresh and hot. Also ordered the omelette, biscuits and gravy! Great selection on their menu....something for everyone.
