Classic American Meal

Was headed to LAX after a day of business in LA and, very hungry, decided to pull into Pann's, tempted by its vintage exterior. I figured it was a good sign that the parking lot was packed. They actually had a wait but since I was eating solo, I headed to the long bar. This is a great place... read more

I actually went to Pann's because of some photos I saw on TripAdvisor. The bacon, eggs and pancakes looked irresistible, and in reality they were quite good. The 'cakes were fluffy and substantial; this certainly wasn't IHOP. Best of all, the staff couldn't have been friendlier, which was balm for this tired traveler. I'd have rated Pann's higher but for... More

Been coming to LA for years, never had a chance to go into Pann's........decided to do brunch to celebrate a bday this past Sunday, WOW, DELISH! The food was great, bloody Mary's and Mimosa's were awesome!! The servers kept them coming. Service was good a 20-30 minute wait but was expected since there's always a crowd. Will definitely be back.... More

I've been a fan of Pann's excellent fried chicken and awesome buttermilk biscuits ever since my girlfriend and I stopped by to check the place out. Since then we've been back several times, and I've found their chili to be very good as well, but their BBQ brisket and ribs to be merely okay. On our most recent visit I... More

Great breakfast location and the only place I've ever been able to order sautéed spinach with my cheese grits. Their bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary's are a great deal, and the people watching is amazing. I almost asked a man, wearing a tiny cowboy hat and red kerchief to pose for a photo - I thought he was a waiter... More

A great place frozen in time. This is a good thing though. If you want to see and experience an authentic 50s diner this is the place to go. Great service, very friendly and accommodating staff and the diner fare never fails to hit the spot.

We went to this lovely googie styled restaurant after reading a great review... When we entered, the staff were just so welcoming and friendly and although we had to wait, it was a busy time and they are popular. Once seated, we ordered a wide choice of items like the omelet special (with crayfish and shrimp), biscuits and gray, pancakes,... More

Four of us had a late breakfast/early lunch. Food was fine and the service was quick. The bread products (muffin, biscuit, etc.) were outstanding and our two breakfast's (chicken & waffles) and (International omelette) The ribs and biscuit were good but a bit pricey for a diner. We like diners and were comfortable here although we think Norm's gives better... More

You've seen this diner in a number of blockbusters: Triple X w/ Vin Diesel, Next w/ Nicolas Cage & Jessica Biel among others, but not in Pulp Fiction contrary to the legend. Loved the 1950's architecture and the tacky decoration. The service is friendly enough, it is usually full and the food is average. Definitely a MUST SEE for tourists... More
