One of the best Italian restaurants we have eaten in Hollywood. The owner Madeo introduced himself to us and made sure we enjoyed our meal. I had the Ravioli which was lovely and my daughter ate the spaghetti. job well done. Only complaint would be that the restaurant is located in the basement of a building. so no view. a... More

This is a very famous and delicious restaurant but I don't really like the location or the space. You have to walk down steps into the restaurants and I feel like the ceilings are low or something - there is a general feeling of being cramped. I prefer Cecconi's for good Italian but so many people love it and rave... More

Traditional atmosphere and very classy with fabulous food! Good service, although it could be better or a tiny more authentic. Great selection of wines of overall, Tuscan and Piedmont. Delicious Lasagna, Risotto and deserts. Classic and solid establishment with impeccable service from the time you arrive till you leave.

If you are into heavy italian, this place is fair. It comes with a great reputation, but has a difficult time living up to it. Service was good and so was menu selection, but the quality of the food was just fair.

Really nice people, good cheese and olive oil. Good food. If you eat good Italian at home( not expensive at home but good quality and fresh) like we do, this is no better, but it's nice.

An institution. Great, real Italian food. Got to go to Italy to get better. Very good service and it is the place to practice your Italian if you have a mind to do so. Of course, many notable faces there regularly. But why not, what is not to like. Make reservations, it is ALWAYS packed.

Food and service is excellent at this restaurant. It is a good place to take out of town guests. Celebrity sightings are normal. Can be expensive but worth it.

This restaurant was VERY good! The Italian food was definitely not your average. You can tell it is authentic. The wine list is great because it varies in prices, we paid about $55/bottle of white wine. If you are looking for celebrities this is DEFINITELY the place to go! In just our one night we saw Larry King, Aaron Paul... More

Excellent food and great service. Atmosphere was excellent. Very lively and pasta was excellent. Recommend reservations and also recommend sitting near the rear of the restaurant where it is a bit more room. Definitely will return.

This place is great. Classic Italian fare. Very luxurious vibe as soon as You walk in the door. The lobster pasta is not to be missed. Also the Osso Buco is amazing. If you want to rub elbows with the stars this is the place.
