This is a small place & they don't take reservations, but the food is excellent. The rice dishes are delicious. There is free parking across the street, no need to pay for valet.

Amazing Food, great ambiance, exceptional service, wonderful dining experience! Best times to come are during happy hour or their $2 daily menu from 2pm-5pm. Loved the selection of meats and fish. The Miso butterfish was so tasty that we had to get two orders of it! The garlic noddles were the best! Very flavorful! The spicy cabbage salad was surprisingly... More

During a holiday in LA, we visited the restaurant after reading a few favorable reviews on here. We went not knowing what to expect, not even realising that you ordered food and cooked it yourself on a grill in the centre of your table! We parked up using the valet parking($6.50 for 2 hours) and naively went in hoping to... More

We were first timers and ordered the bbq meal 2 for $60 to get a sampling. Food was good and server Evan was great! Atmosphere is very casual dining.

Tripadvisor shows this as being in Los Angeles, but it's actually just outside of the Huntington Beach area. If you're looking for a place to go to have a few really cheap drinks then this is the place for you. If you go during Happy Hour, their draft Saporro beer is amazingly cheap and it's in the largest mug I've... More

Awesome place to go with friends. The cooking part of the dinner makes for a fun evening out where you dont just sit down and order, eat, pay and get out. We usually go with a group of 4 of us, get a few sides of veggies, a rice bowl, and 2 chicken and 2 beef plates and 2 fish... More

The concept is great. The menu is infused. The restaurant is always busy with a huge line but the quality has disappeared. Im not saying I wouldnt go I still like certain meats but there are so many other places similiar that are better quality. Just go at Happy Hour times and you will like it alot more.

We came here with a groupon and had $40 to spend. We were only able to order from the regular a la carte menu because the specials were off limits with the groupon. We had a couple of appetizers, 3 meat dishes, and a bowl of ramen. The tofu and calamari appetizers were not bad, the meat dishes were okay,... More

The portions are tiny! We paid $24 for the kobe beef and received a plate of very very thin fatty meat. I could not believe my eyes! The shrimp, scallops, and lamb - OK nothing special. The asparagus and spinach just OK. Everything was drenched in butter which I could not stand. I tasted more butter than food. We ordered... More
