What can I say? I would guess this is probably the very best Cuban restaurant in the Los Angeles area. I happen to be Cuban-American and I was brought up on Cuban food while living and growing up in Miami. With that said, I really wanted to like this palace..I mean restaurant. I thought it would be like Varsailles in... More

I have been frequenting this restaurant for more than 15 years. Best garlic chicken in the world! Comes with rice, onion rings and black beans. Then the magical fried plantains on the side. Always too much, so it makes two meals. I must confess I have pretty much just had this meal every time, as it is so good. The... More

I am not saying is bad food.. but isn't that great either. my bf and I we always clean the plates in every place where we go... we didn;t finish our dishes. I am cuban, and I don't have a lot of cuban food where I live, so everytime we go to somewhere else, we are always looking for cuban... More

Every time I visit LA, I always dine at Versailles. The Famoso Pollo Versailles (roasted garlic chicken) is unbelievable. The garlic marinate that it is prepared in can also be used as a sauce - do yourself a favor and order extra. You will thank yourself later. Dish is also served with rice and plantains. You can order a quarter... More

You must try the famous #6 chicken and ox tail! Their garlic sauce is legendary and you can ask for a side of it too. Prices are reasonable (10-15 for most dishes).

This place is the best place to eat in all of LA. My husband and I have eaten all over LA and this place is seriously the best. The service is fantastic as we struggled to get good service at most places. The food is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Make sure you get the sample appetiser plate to... More

Visited with some friends after a day at LA County Museum of Art. The dining area is one open space with lots of tables; don't come for the atmosphere but the food and service are fantastic. Had the cuban pollo dinner which was enough for two to share; came with with moros (black beans). Very attentive service, no complaints at... More

This was my first time going to eat Cuban food. I went to the one on Venice Blvd in Los Angels. The service and the food was fantastic. Will definitely go back again.

Great food, great service, it's hard to find good Cuban food however this place has it! Not sure what happened to the spot of Venice I used to frequent the spot when I lived on the West side in College.

This was the second time I have eaten at the Encino location. Service was quick and soft drinks were offered to be refilled without asking. The bread is brought out and is called garlic bread but our basket had 5-6 small pieces of thick French bread that had some drizzled butter (?) and small pieces of garlic but that covered... More
