I prefer to order ahead and take-out.

Not that I have a problem with the atmosphere, it's a decent establishment. My issue is that I cannot devour the food in a way that would be deemed acceptable by the public (outside of a zoo setting). The BBQ chicken meal -- my mouth is watering just thinking of it. Rice, beans, plantains... read more

Party of 5. I ate at a Versailles in Miami, FL. It was outstanding. This place was just meh! Chicken was edible. Plantains were excellent as were the rice and beans. We had it in a combo with roast pork. The bread that everyone else got was missing. We also had yucca which was yummy but their signature dish was... More

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I didn't. This place is always pretty busy so I was expecting a very good meal. The bread they bring out before the meal was my favorite part. Soft and garlicky, just delicious. The beer was cold as well. That is where the good ends. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and the... More

Always a 5 star restaurant but my last visit Feb 27, 2015 was a little disappointing , my usual favorite the Garlic Lemon chicken was rather dried out and while waiting I noticed the priced had increased on other items since my last visit,

I like latin food, cuban is a great cuisine. This is a great place to try if you are new in the Cuban kitchen; either way if you already enjoy this type of food is great option, great service just a little bit slow when they have to bring the check... tasty.

The Versailles is somewhat of an institution in Culver City. Always attracts a crowd. While busy service is Ok....not great. Waited over 10 min. to pay the bill. The menu is extensive offering a full range of Cuban delicacies. However the sauces are very conservative bordering on bland. I ordered the Carne Con Papas - Beef Stew "Tender boneless chunks... Excelent option. Delicious food, good prices, food taste like brazilian food, inclusive the rice and beans. Excelent option to run away from junk American food.

What can I say? I would guess this is probably the very best Cuban restaurant in the Los Angeles area. I happen to be Cuban-American and I was brought up on Cuban food while living and growing up in Miami. With that said, I really wanted to like this palace..I mean restaurant. I thought it would be like Varsailles in... More

I have been frequenting this restaurant for more than 15 years. Best garlic chicken in the world! Comes with rice, onion rings and black beans. Then the magical fried plantains on the side. Always too much, so it makes two meals. I must confess I have pretty much just had this meal every time, as it is so good. The... More

Every time I visit LA, I always dine at Versailles. The Famoso Pollo Versailles (roasted garlic chicken) is unbelievable. The garlic marinate that it is prepared in can also be used as a sauce - do yourself a favor and order extra. You will thank yourself later. Dish is also served with rice and plantains. You can order a quarter... More
