I heard so much of it from different people here, saw picture they posted on Instagram and finally I went there. Not even once, cause after first time I couldn't understand, what was all the fuss about. May be I didn't understand or I missed something there? Should keep my eyes peeled, so I went two more times. My first... More

Went here for dinner our last night on vacation with friends. We brought out children ages 5 and 10. Not a kids place but the staff could not have been more accomdating with my children. Food was fantastic and service was great. If you want good italian go here! Get a reservation! its packed on a Tuesday night if that... More

Not much to say except that it was the best chicken parm I have ever had in my life. The staff was friendly and courteous and over backwards to please us! Pricey but worth it!

Showed up at 9:00 PM on a Sunday and they it us in (they were packed). Food was amazing, old-fashioned Italian, not so fancy that you couldn't get ravioli but not cheap either! Craig is already making plans to return in September when he's back in L.A.

Had to wait to get a table even though it was pre-booked many days in advance and there's a good reason for this - because its great food food the waiters are very funny - ( if you want them to be) and reasonably priced. A bit of football memorabilia is a good talking point for the Europeans. Tip....BOOK or... More

This is a very small restaurant so make reservations! It is a very cool Old Hollywood haunt! The food is great and the waiters are campy! I had the house salad with Italian dressing (of course!) and ravioli with spinach and cheese in marinara sauce. My date had the anchovies and peppers appetizer and Shrimp Diablo (hot..okay the Diablo and... More

Very busy charismatic Italian. Good level of attention from charming staff and an excellent menu. Clearly frequented by a significant quantity of regulars which can prove hard to dislodge from the bar area and very limited seating otherwise whilst you wait for your table to come available. A truly enjoyable evening with first class food, highly recommended.

We were lucky to get a booking here on a Friday night, the place was heaving with a queue outside. Inside it's like being transported to another world, a timeless home style Italian restaurant complete with chequered tables. I could see why celebrities choose it, great for hiding in. We had the mozzarella marinara and garlic toast for starters and... More

We had such a great time at Dan Tana's. Loved our waiter and he invited the Chef to come out to meet us. Were all Croatian so it was a pleasure. The food was fantastic, we loved everything especially the pasta with pot roast, the best I have ever had! I call it a dinner and a show. Awesome food... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
