Have been here 4 times, each time I visited friends in LA, we went here for a great night out. Staff are friendly and the decor is warm and welcoming. Food is really nice, I recommend the fillet steak.... Cosy dining area but not on top of other tables either. Well worth a visit, cant wait to go back again.

Celebrating the recital of close friend at USC. We had a party of 9 arrived late on a Tuesday night and they fed us well from the bar menu. Our server and the carvery staff were most excellent. The corned beef was to die for and the creamed spinach is the best e ever had in a restaurant. My husband... More

A colleague and I dined at the Tam O' Shafter last night. I've dined at this place many times since the 1960's and it has always been consistently very good. Last night was no exception. The Tam O' Shatner cut of prime rib was right up there among the best I've ever had. The creamed spinach was also delicious.

Our son is a cast member @ the DLR. He brought the family here as part of his "Disney Studio Tour". This was a favorite haunt of Walt Disney and his Imagineers so I was "All In". Had the sandwich bar which was fantastic. The decor was rustic, just what I had hoped it would be. Put this on your... More

I have been enjoying the Tam O’ Shanter for over 50 years. It has continued to this day to be a family favorite. The food, drink and service have always been top notch, I cannot remember ever voicing a complaint in my 50 years of patronage and over that span of time it shows as a true testament to the... More

If you want a great meat meal this is the place to go. During the holidays you also have caroling at each table.

We went here with a tour, so our menu was somewhat more limited than the one they usually offer. However, the prime rib was fantastic, and so was the Yorkshire pudding. I'm not a huge fan of creamed spinach, but the people who enjoy it said it was a good example of the dish. The decor is very pretty, and... More

I first went to " the Tam" as my mother called it, as a teenager in the 1950's. And I loved it. Later in the 70's it went under a new name " the Great Scot" we took our children there and it was as great a favorite with them as it had been with me 20 years earlier. Now... More

While Disney Fans might initially be interested in this restaurant because of its historical significance as one of Walt's favorite restaurants, or because of its involvement in the recent "Tomorrowland" film marketing activities, they will likely return because of the great food and charming surroundings. Whether sitting at Walt's favorite table or kicking back in the more casual sandwich bar,... More
