Pretty convincing pub

Very nice pub, convincing in decor and atmosphere, and in the food as well, with chips of the quality of a good contemporary pub restaurant. The puddings are not entirely convincing, however: no British pub would essentially give you a whole tub of ice cream in a sundae glass. Not that we were... read more

Came with friends for Wednesday night trivia. It was a hoot! Lots of fun... Service was timely and she checked on us quite a bit, even when it was obvious we were just playing the game and done eating/drinking. The food was just okay. I've had much better fish and chips. I will say, the portion is huge. I got... More

Wow, My sister used to take me to my favorite English pub everytime I visited Los Angeles but this time it was not the "Ye Olde Kings Head" Food was disgusting, menu has completely changed and after 23 years of going there, I will not be back. What a shame, It was one of my all time favorites. I guess... More

Stopped in for lunch when in Santa Monica. Very authentic pub; felt like we were in London rather than LA! Food was plentiful and very nice, it made a nice change to finally get some veg with the meals! Good range of drinks and very good service.

We were staying at the sportsmens lodge for a few nights whilst on a tour and heard this was a nice English pub so we thought great we will go for a few pints of beer. Big mistake its terrible! It is nothing like an English pub with unfeindly staff who rip you off at the bar and charge you... More

Husband and I went here because hes been craving some good Fish and chips Unfortunately the chips were bland and the fish to breaded and also bland. I however enjoyed the welsh rarebit and my shepherds pie was very nicely prepared. I also recommend the cheese plate it was nice. The service however was lacking very hard to get a... More

We always try to return here for their Sunday English breakfast. It's not fancy, but they have the best bangers, fried tomatoes and properly cooked fried eggs. Along with the Black and Tan and Bloody Mary we had, it was a great Sunday breakfast - watching multiple football games and enjoying the meal.

A nice little home from home for us Brits. Worth a visit just for a nostalgic look. Very friendly and beer not too bad but some of the ales served a little too cold. Food was proper English pub food which we enjoyed.

The Food was great. The typical English food - no clue. But their Indian food (the Chicken Tika Masala - Spectacular!!). The chips that went with the Artichoke/spinach dip - not tortilla chips, not sure exactly- but a bit lighter, very nice. Food service was a tiny bit slow, but there was a large party in the bar area, and... More

We ate dinner and were impressed with the menu options and general quality of the food. The wine selection was also quite good compared to some pubs. We chose the outdoor seating and enjoyed 'people watching, and a cool breeze. We both ate the steak.... one had 2 pieces of eye fillet...excellent... the other more a rib eye I think... More
