The cafe was recommended by our hotel we were staying at. We were seated by an ununiformed man. We thought maybe it was the owner, but think he was the "manager." A suggestion that maybe the manager should dress similar to other staff instead of looking like a customer. Our server David was very nice and efficient! The menu has... More

Made a reservation. Was with family and we had a pretty good sized group. Service was good, meals were hot, nice menu selection, and fun atmosphere. Note no alcohol served. Prompt service, and an overall fun place to go. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we would go back.

Local Restaurant, limited but good menu, enough choices for all. Have been returning regularly. The soups and salads are worth getting- we tried several and all got high marks. Entrees are somewhat limited but all were quite good. Specials are often available -- most worth trying. Try the crusted sea bass and the fish Taquitos. Some portions quite large. Edit... More

This small cafe is located in a non-trendy neighborhood, but once found it is a real gem. With a reasonably-sized menu they have a nice assortment of appetizers, soups, and salads. The entrees are mid-priced, and portions were generous. There are fish, beef, lamb, and vegetarian entrees. We went with a couple of friends, and everyone was very pleased with... More

The menu has a good variety of dishes. The potato crusted sea bass is to die for. Other dishes like pasta and lamb shank are wonderful too. Portions are large enough that it is difficult to save room for dessert which you want to do. Did I mention this cafe is a BYOB establishment and the corkage is free. So... More

My wife was eager to try this newbie for brunch last Saturday. Decor was pleasing, but the place was sparsely attended around 11:45 AM on a Saturday. Menu was very limited. French press coffee was awful. No on-menu fruit option - when served, a few meager grapes and honeydew. Eggs were well-prepared, but my potatoes were inadvertently omitted and not... More

We stopped here over a year ago driving from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara and stopped again today. Not disappointed - excellent. People who have this restaurant in their neighborhood are very fortunate.

We have come here with friends on several occasions. It. Is a neighborhood restaurant with an outdoor eating area out front and a moderate number of tables inside. The menu is somewhat simple with several soups ( we have enjoyed the mushroom soup ) several dinner salad choices (my wife and our friend are partial to the beet salad and... More
