We were a large party, including teenagers, and went for dinner after attending an event at the Disney Concert Hall. Most of us had burgers, all very good and substantial. Their vodka Margaritas laced with chilli were fantastic and worth trying. The service was slow and not great but it didn't deter from our overall enjoyment. Another aspect really worth... More

As a welcome to L.A. my lovely daughter took me to the Blue Cow. We truly enjoyed the atmoshere, great service, and food. I love fresh veges but this was farm fresh. I was very impressed by the quality and realized what everyone says about California farm fresh is true. Loved the water carafe was a glass bottle from the... More

Our bartender suggested the pork belly coming from the south I figured no one can do pork like Southern BBQ, boy was I wrong! Absolutely delicious and a great serving of it. I am not into the IPA beer or whatever they call it but they offered it for free so I drank it, I still like my regular beer!... More

As we had tickets to see a play at the Mark Taper, we wanted to have a casual meal not far from the Music Center. We were pleasantly surprised at this nice casual restaurant-The Kale Ceasar was fresh and delicious (although we told the manager it could use some more goodies like the figs, cheese etc. besides the generous portion... This was the first meal we had in downtown LA on a recent business trip. Very happy to have received the tip to try this place! I found the menu inspired, and the prices very reasonable. Loved the cauliflower couscous dish - actually one of the most flavourful dishes I've tried in a while, anywhere. The restaurant had a fun... More

Had a great time at the Blue Cow before attending a play at the Taper Auditorium not far from there. Very nice cocktails, delicious and slightly offbeat food served in portions that are just right. And it's very nice to sit outside and to look at the high-rises around, the tables offer a view of the city that's highly urban... More

This place is in a slightly desolate area of downtown L.A. that's on the up and coming. The menu offers farm fresh organic dishes. I ordered the grilled corn with grated cotija cheese and the Cobb salad. Both were eXcellent. The corn is served on skewers and is covered in cheese-yumm! The salad was also fresh and delicious. Together it... More

What a gem in downtown LA. Loved the delicious food and friendly service. Also features a happy hour with gourmet choices for food & brews on tap including some West Coast selections. Try the duck wings as an alternative to chicken wings. Appetizers are fun to share around the table, with just enough food to sample/go around.

Hidden a midst some downtown high rise buildings, this was one of our favorite patio restaurants during our trip to Los Angeles. The food was good, we had the Duck wings to start, they were delicious, followed by the Kurobuta Pork Belly and the Turkey club sandwiches, also top notch. The manager was walking around visiting all the tables and... More
