Delicious Food

The food was very interesting. I ordered the Kurobuta Pork Belly Banh Mi. The sandwich itself was very good - a little different, which is what I was looking for. The fries were on the salty side, but at least they were crispy. I liked the ambiance sitting outside. This place seemed to get a lot of... read more

My husband and I met some friends of ours there and really enjoyed it! The food was quite tasty, the patio was fun and buzzing with people and the service was really good too! We will definitely return when we visit LA again!

nice view smack in the middle of downtown los angeles. We had their burger with fries. Their beer selection was good as well. I had the margarita and sangria. I enjoyed the margarita more!

This is a nice oasis of a bar in the middle of the skyscrapers in Downtown LA. The outdoor seating is nice, just make sure you get a seat with a canopy to avoid the sun rays if you come for lunch; but something tells me the best time to get here is in the evening. My wife and I... More

It was a beautiful evening in downtown L.A. Drinks and small plates made for a relaxing evening. Location was a little hard to find, but we are so glad we found it.

My husband and I visited the Blue Cow before an event at Disney Hall. The Happy Hour begins at 4:30 and continues until 7:30. Well drinks, house wines, and some beers are only $5 each. Many appetizers are reasonably priced (but in smaller portions than off the "regular" menu). We tried the Pink Eggs and Ham (one half egg each),... More

I would have liked to try more here because everything we had was great. I got the salad with grilled chicken. Such a great mixture of vegetables, squash, spinach, carrots, cucumber. And very good citrus dressing. It was fresh and healthy but still pretty hearty. My boyfriend got their burger which he was very happy with. I helped him with... More

I wasn't in the mood for lining up and searching for an available table but the food was good. Sandwiches and salads. Separate breakfast and lunch menus

This is a great place for sandwiches and our server tony was awesome. The ahi tuna sandwich was great. Perhaps the best fries that I have tasted in a long time. We went here because ti was museum of modern art. You will do well here and all parites will be satisfied.

I'm guessing this is a great place to have lunch or after dinner drinks if you work downtown. It is a short & brisk walk to the Music Center and Ahmanson Theater -so we chose to eat at Blue Cow Kitchen. The decor is hip. The food was very good. The sangria was yummy. Each item we shared was delicious.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
