We ate here before a performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was pretty much the only "happening" place in the mall where it is located, but that was a good thing. The after-work crowd were obviously enjoying themselves. Loved the food - we had 3 share plates between two, and were well satisfied. The cost was extremely reasonable, service... More

My wife and I proposed to meet another couple in downtown Los Angeles after we attended the LA Art & Design show this past Saturday night. We have eaten at several of the new restaurants that have sprung up in the last few years and they have been generally quite good. I was interested in trying something new and the... More

My group & I stopped here for dinner while on business. The atmosphere is very cool & hip. The menu is small but diverse and offers interesting ingredient combinations. I had the lamb burger which was wonderful. Others at my table had the roasted chicken, pork belly tacos, & a salad. We were all very pleased with our meals &... More

Blue Cow is located in California Plaza and is a very cool place to grab a bite to eat after work or to hang out for a drink. There's inside and outside seating...I love sitting outside on a warm night, with the city lights surrounding me...those skyscrapers look awesome at night. Their drinks are nice and I think the food... More

We were in LA for just a few days, but happened to arrive on New Years' Eve day. We had read good reviews about Blue Cow Kitchen and saw they had a New Years' Eve menu that was both reasonably priced and had options for both of us (which is rare). We happened upon the place as we were exploring... More

We had occasion to dine at this restaurant twice during the holidays on two evenings while we were in Los Angeles for concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall (WDCH). They were accommodating for my food allergies without fuss and modified a delightful garden salad that was crisp and fresh. The others that were with me had pork belly tacos (which... More

A great mix of outdoor/indoor eclectic food and ambiance. The BBQ Chicken Flatbread and the Sangria was my choice for the night - yum. Amongst my group - food presentation was impressive. Convenience to downtown businesses after a busy day. Would recommend.

We had a party of 8 people and we stopped in for an early before a play at the Music Center. The servers were very helpful and the food was quite good. Prices were on par for the restaurants downtown and there was a big variety of food to satisfy our diverse crowd. The service was quick and we made... More

We just arrived in L.A. and found outdoor seating at the Blue Cow and joined the after work crowd. The Happy Hour menu served as dinner for us with yummy and creamy stuffed eggs and a very attentive wait staff.

This restaurant has such great atmosphere. Be sure to sit outside and soak up the LA sun and people watch. The salads are great and there is a good selection of alcoholic beverages/wines. The service is phenomenal - very attentive and friendly.
