Baco Mercat was an unexpected pleasure! My partner and I liked it so much we returned a second time on a 4 day trip. Everything we tried was incredible, the chief successfully combined and infused flavours that I found difficult to identify; consequently, each dish has something unique to offer. You must try to mushroom flatbread!

We came here with three diners total after reading some great reviews. There is both valet parking or metered street parking along Main St. The restaurant seems to be a little confused with regards to what type of food it serves up and the "vibe" it wants to project. The signature dish, the "baco," or flatbread sandwich is like a... More

Went for dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed it a lot. We got there right at 5 pm when it was opening for dinner and there were already people waiting in line to get in. The waitress was really patient and informative with all our questions, as most everything there needs some explaining. We split two appetizers, a... More

We came here invited for a friend of my daughter with not many expectations but it was really a stunning surprise how tasty and diverse kind of wonderful tapas/dishes we got to share It is a modern cafe / restaurant with a fusion of latin/spanish/american/middle east food. It is really an explosion of flavors you got on every different meal.... More

This is my 'go-to' restaurant when someone's coming in from out of town or I just want a good meal. Everything on the menu is phenomenal...even the okra, which I usually think is disgusting otherwise. The pork porterhouse is out of this world. The tastes that the chef puts together at Baco Mercat are unique and vibrant. Even though I've... More

Every dish we ordered from this place was so incredibly tasty! I particularly recommend the Hamachi Crudo and the yellow beet salad both delicious! The duck really tender, the lamb ri let's beautifully seasoned. Good ale on tap and cocktails that taste of real ingredients rather than synthetic mixers. We'll go again!

One of those unusual restaurants in Los Angeles that combines fresh ingredients, inventive preparation and responsive service with decent prices, Baco Mercat is a pleasure to dine at with friends or family. The décor is urban retro; the greeting is friendly; the dinner menu features good wines and is divided into several easily recognizable categories including starters, fish, meat, vegetables,... It's hard to tell what type of cuisine this is... Middle Eastern? Indian, African, Mediterranean? The chef riffs on many cultures to deliver a fresh, tasty assortment of pizzas, sandwiches, and bigger plates to share and marvel at. Flatbread pizza with gorgeous mixed mushrooms and gooey with cheese, stuffed zucchini blossoms that melt in your mouth before you can identify... More
