seemed like a good idea but...

The food looked amazing, fresh, etc. Taste-tests available. I have allergies so picked carefully - and got really sick from either sulfites or MSG-type stuff or other additives. The food was great. I have eaten here several times. There is also one at the lax airport in terminal 5. Both have fresh heathy ingredients with great flavor. You don't feel guilty after eating there.

We shared a vegetarian-style six-salad plate (from beets to garbanzo beans), got the chicken-pot-pie (for the not-veggie one among us), and snarfed down some cookies. Yum! Love the unique dishes--they even gave me some ideas for fixins' in my own kitchen. Clean, easy, good pricing, right on the edge of a fun neighborhood and shopping. We highly recommend Lemonade!

Having just landed in LA after a long 16 trip from Australia, trying this as my first LA meal was perfect. From the great range of their signature Lemonades to the awesome range of delicious salads, I was pepped up and ready to go in no time! Loved it so much I bought the cookbook while I was there!

I always stop at Lemonade when in town. Fresh, healthy choices. Good for vegetarians, & gluten-free. Their deserts are delicious. The portions are moderate, as are the prices.

Israeli Couscous, Mac-N-Chese, and quinoa salad are some of my favorites. Studio City location is small and seats are hard to come by depending on time of day. Parking stinks there too.

You might be wondering why I still gave this little cafe four stars with such a title. Let me explain: my husband and I ate here on our first day in Los Angeles. The food was fantastic, healthy, and reasonably priced for two people looking to eat something that would revitalize energy for the day. We ended up liking it... More

I was intended to grab something light here when I was out during the day but the menu wouldn't let me. It was all so good. The food places in LA are just amazing.

We stumbled on Lemonade at the end of a 3 week LA trip after eating out at all sorts of places. This is salvation - amazing fresh salads and warm stews and sandwiches. Having spent $80 consistently on eating out for our family on nonsense we were grateful to eat so well for around half that. Thanks to the creators... More

Neighborhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
