Not cheap, but good, nutritious food

I'm a fan. It's not cheap, but you can pop in and get some great food, fast. Easy for me to eat nutritiously, providing I can pass up the strawberry lemonade cupcakes. Which are AMAZING.

The food is actually pretty good, but their service process not efficient. Don't expect to get in & out fast, just because everything is pre-made. You have to wait behind people who want to sample every dish before they choose what to get, and there are not enough servers to accommodate all the samplers. It would be great if they... More

After reading about Lemonade on trip advisor before we left the UK, we'd almost given up hope in finding it when we stumbled upon it by accident. The food was amazing, it was so fresh and tasty. After 10 days in the U.S. we ended up spending a small fortune to fill up on greens and delicious protein! We'd recommend... More

Love having so many delicious options for vegetables. I would just never take the time at home to make such interesting "side dishes. I usually have a plate of their various vegetables but their braises are good here too. My favorite is the one with chicken, artichokes and green olives (I think it might be called Basque). Lemonade are delicious... More

Very fresh food, tasty, healthy, because of fresh salads and no fried food.. and of course nice lemonades. Not pricey

We were a bit confused when we got here since we had never been to this restaurant before but were attracted because of the gluten free food. The staff were very patient with us, helping us out and suggesting different dishes. Lemonade was delicious, but food was a bit exotic. Though it was a bit pricey, an overall good experience.

Love this place, stumbled on it while taking a walk over to Paramount Studios for a tour. Great space to sit inside or out, super fun food and a great selection of flavored lemonade to try. Set up as a small cafeteria style bakery you can select from premade (fresh) salads and hot side dishes or have a sandwich made... More

It's OK if you like the upscale cafeteria type eatery. Miss what it used to be, before changing owners: A sit down and get waited on restaurant. Lemonade has a sizable variety of mains, sides, deserts and drinks. Problem is, by the time you've received your food (in the much too small eating area--outdoor tables are on a side street... More

Great, healthy place in a hole-in-the-wall type location. Seems like not many people know about it so I've always gotten very quick service. Atmosphere is not great, kinda dark. Not a date place. Kind of cafeteria-style ordering so no wait for bill. Seems like they focus on just getting the food right and delivering food quickly - the two most... More

Buffet style, healthy and hearty portions. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Lemonade restaurant is at the corner of Abbot Kinney and Venice Blvd. Parking is tricky. Plan to walk a distance. The entrées are large portioned and served at room temperature. Take-home containers and bags are no extra charge. Six entrées split between two people means three hearty meals between... More

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
