We had a late lunch at Sweet Butter, and had a nice time. The LA sun was warm, and the breeze gentle. I had the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was very tasty. The waffle, was a little tough. My wife had one of their salads, which was fresh, and very tasty.

We love coming here Sunday for brunch, although is pretty busy and there's a wait list all the time, sometimes even half an hour... But the people working here are very nice and everything is well organised. And the food is great! We keep coming back :)

Visited on a Sunday morning -- VALET parking, but we parked up the small side-street & walked down. Great breakfast & lunch items to choose from -- everything SUPER fresh and tasty. Coffee was awesome. Even have unique baked goods section that covered our need for sweets. It's popular, so plan ahead!!

As someone who has to eat gluten free, I don't find a lot to write about. Spent a nice hour here with my folks. The cafe has a lot of personality. Even though all seating is basically outdoors, the decor and ambience help you forget you're sitting on Ventura Blvd. Staff was helpful, serviceable and friendly. My sandwich, Italian Tuna-... More

The portions are large, prices normal for the area, service acceptable, friendly staff, and the pancakes. OH, THE PANCAKES! They are the best fluffy delight I have ever eaten. Thick, fluffy, slices of Heaven. The rest of the food was really good, but did I mention THE PANCAKES? The street cafe outdoor seating was fun, and I could easily envision... More

Meet my girlfriends here for Bkfast, not cheap but the ambiance is nice and makes you feel somewhat like you are in a café in Europe, the coffee is not good, I wish they would get better quality coffee, the bkfast egg sandwich is very very good, the oatmeal is also very good, but the most important thing that it... Favorite breakfast spot in the valley whether to stay or pick up to go. Try to get there (before ) or by 9 Am. The place is yours! First of all the coffee. even the regular drip coffee would put to shame most coffee places from Seattle! The sweet butter breakfast is simply perfect. the added touch of heirloom tomatoes... More

We stopped in at Sweet Butter Kitchen and Cafe for lunch. They offer very unique sandwiches, soups, and salads. I went with a BBQ chicken wrap with some great ingredients and my wife had the curried chicken salad sandwich. Our children tried the salads and soup. My sandwich came with shoestring fries that were okay, but the sandwich was great.... More

It was Sunday, January 26th about 11am. My wife waited in line at Sweet Butter to order brunch while I sat at the table. The manager came up and asked me to get up. That we were not permitted to sit without food already ordered. I calmly expressed my disappointment, got my wife out of line and left. I would... More

Took the family for breakfast and it was truly enjoyable! The pancakes were huge and fluffy and the atmosphere was really nice without door heating
