Do Not Pass This Gem Up

I'll have to admit I am intrigued at the fact that this is Kosher Mexican food! But then I saw the man behind the madness Chef Katsuji Tanabe on the last season of Top Chef (woo hoo) and his vision behind this restaurant. It's brilliant for the area (the Jewish corridor of Pico/Robertson) and hey... read more

Whenever we visit L.A. we make sure to eat here at least once. My kids love it, my husband loves it and I especially love it because the carnitas (beef and duck confit) are as close as I'll ever come to the real thing, now that I keep kosher. The set up is a lot like Chipotle in that you... More

Great Mexican food. Never disappointed with the quality and taste of their food. Caters to a wide variety of customers.

Came here on a Sunday evening and wasn't disappointed. Ordered three tacos with a carne asada filling. Not only is the meat cooked to perfection but the variety of salsas offered are amazing. I personally recommend the serrano aioli and the kosher bacon sauce. This is a perfect place if you're looking for a delicious and casual meal out.

The food is great, the price is right, the atmosphere (for a fast casual) is acceptable and the people behind the counter are nice. For me, this is a no-brainer. As someone who did not always keep kosher, there are many cuisines that I miss. One of them was authentic Mexican food. The American style of Mexican food is somewhat... More

Really excellent food. I don't eat a lot of Mexican food so I can't compare it but on its own it's very good. First you choose if you want a burrito, nachos, or salad. Then you choose the meat: chicken breast, lamb marinated for 16 hours, or beef and lamb. Then you can add salad, onions, etc. finally they have... More

So if you keep kosher like I do and don't eat non-kosher meat out, but would eat out, you're pretty much limited in your menu choices. Not complaining, just saying. So at Chipotle, for example, it's veggie burrito, etc, but here!!!! Here we fell in love. ANYTHING. Three kinds of beef and chicken to stuff your burrito. And it was... More

Great little place on Pico Robertson. Well priced, and no need to trade off authentic or delicious Mexican food for Kosher restrictions. If you keep kosher, this is an LA must visit.

If you like huge portions of mostly average Mexican style kosher food, this is the place. They have some specials, as well. Overall, it's good if you keep kosher and have a craving for Mexican food.

I give thumbs up to most of the food, occasionally I find that some of the chicken is a little dry and not super flavorful. The meats are usually delicious, my personal favorite are the Australian ribs.
