Very hip and cool kosher Mexican place in the heart of LAs Jewish community. Authentic Mexican flavors and heavy with the cilantro. The food is customizable in terms of toppings. The chorizo is my favorite by far. The food does sit heavy a few hours later.

Quick and casual. Delicious! Loved the burrito. Don't worry that it's kosher, it tastes authentic. Lot of sauces.

We went here because we are fans of Katsuji from Top Chef. The food was great. Worth the trip and time. Generous portions that will fill you up. Just disappointed Katsuji was out of town when we visited. Next time maybe.

Very good and quick kosher Mexican...my husband enjoyed his burrito and I had a great taco salad, both were topped with our choice of meat, which was the grilled steak. I thiought it was seasoned nicely They have a nice salad bar of different toppings you can request, although I think some, like the beets, are better sized for the... More

I want to this restaurant mainly to see how good Kosher Mexican food would taste. It was very good, given the limitation of kosher, e.g. no meat and milk foods cooked together. The restaurant has to be under religious supervision. This restaurant satisfies the palate, religious requirements and the price is reasonable.

I'll have to admit I am intrigued at the fact that this is Kosher Mexican food! But then I saw the man behind the madness Chef Katsuji Tanabe on the last season of Top Chef (woo hoo) and his vision behind this restaurant. It's brilliant for the area (the Jewish corridor of Pico/Robertson) and hey who doesn't enjoy some comfort... More

Whenever we visit L.A. we make sure to eat here at least once. My kids love it, my husband loves it and I especially love it because the carnitas (beef and duck confit) are as close as I'll ever come to the real thing, now that I keep kosher. The set up is a lot like Chipotle in that you... More

Came here on a Sunday evening and wasn't disappointed. Ordered three tacos with a carne asada filling. Not only is the meat cooked to perfection but the variety of salsas offered are amazing. I personally recommend the serrano aioli and the kosher bacon sauce. This is a perfect place if you're looking for a delicious and casual meal out.
