Still a great choice!

This is my second review of Picca and the first one still holds up. Other than the scallop tapas--served on a half shell--having far too much salt and the tuna being a little too fishy, the rest of our 4 tapas dishes were simply divine! The service was apologetic and lovely at the same time... read more

We love peruvian food and were delighted with this restaurant, we ordered many dishes to share, small portions though, so we had a sample of each one, wish the portions were bigger... everything was delicious, excellent service. Maybe a little noisy since it was friday night and the place was crowded. But we had a great dinner here. Expect to... More

Interesting and tasty menu. Fusion of Japanese and Peruvian. Tapas size servings. Great service. Cheerful place, but not too noisy.

This is a small trendy Peruvian tapas eatery. We had seafood paella, scallops and chicken and fries. The portions were small but the taste and quality were very good. The churro and cookies we had for dessert were excellent. It was not cheap but is worth a try.

If you like throwing your money away then this is the place for you! Went to this restaurant last night for Mothers Day, quite a nice restaurant with two floors and friendly staff. We ordered numerous dishes and found it unbelievable when the main dishes started to arrive.........no matter what the dish, it is served in a small soup bowl... More

Well, I just got back from Peru a couple of weeks ago. I have eater Peruvian food in Los Angeles before, but this pace reminded me of nothing Peruvian or Japanese. They have a very large selection of Piscos which was nice...they even had a bottle of my favorite Pisco I tried in Cusco...so on the cocktail end, on point,... More

Picca certainly wasn't one of the finest restaurants I've been to or one of my favorites. But, it certainly is hip, innovative and the restaurant carries their Peruvian theme throughout the menu items and drinks. The menu does needs translation and is good for a more adventurous diner. If you're into spicy foods and "small bites" then Picca could be... More

We went to this Peruvian Restaurant very expensive the plates super super little and at the end they never told us that for a party of 7 the gratuity will be 20% after TAXES. The waiter took for ever in bringing the Orders then the Chaufa Rice was super salty....... Not a good experience.

Picca is a good place to go if you're not super hungry for a big traditional meal and want to nibble on a bunch of different tapas plates. From the exterior it's very unassuming, especially in this neighborhood of Pico but when we walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and open interior with exposed kitchen, loft style... This is a great addition to the seemingly endless small plates restaurants in LA. But here we have a unique animal, serving causa, antechucos, ceviches and piscos. As the waiter told us, the menu is Peruvian, Japanese, French at once. Depending on what you get it may be more or less of each. I would recommend the Peruvian dishes and... More
