Didn't expect a lot when friends suggested this place after a visit to LACMA. I couldn't have been more wrong! I think this turned out to be one of the best culinary experiences I've had lately in LA. The variety of food combinations and flavors was as creative as delicious. The cocktail and wine list is superb, the bar tender... More

Visiting LACMA with my family and stopped in for a late afternoon nosh and beverage. What a delightful surprise. The bites were world class. We had the cheese plate, a couple of dishes from the garden, the Charcuterie plate. The vegetables were so savory and delicious I now have to remake my go to dishes that I make for holidays... More

It's a nice place in a great location and great view. I had a good time chatting with friends, but unfortunately couldn't eat anything, because the menu is not coeliac friendly...

We had a quick lunch outside, we had little time and shared a cheese board featuring 5 stunning cheeses accompanied by a superb pair of white wines. Everything was matching the wonderful surroundings until it came time for us to pay. In spite of going to the counter and offering to pay cash directly, we had to wait for a... More

Visiting LACMA again... We enjoyed the bar ambiance. Drinks were nice. Scotch toddy, Great! Grapefruit Mimosa, Nice twist on the traditional mimosa. We had the Soppressata pizza. (Thin crust, goat cheese, soppressata sausage, green onions, spices). Yummy! The only hiccup was the fact that the bartender forgot to place our food order. So we were there longer than expected. He... More

We have eaten here before and always enjoyed the amazing food--fresh, local ingredients prepared by a food wizard, artfully presented. This time we enjoyed the food in the outdoor bar area. We were two families eating with two toddlers and this elegant restaurant accommodated the great liveliness at our table. I love this place!

Museum restaurants range from Thr Rex Whistler room at the Tate to the one at the National Gallery in Washington. This one is nearer the top. Menu is interesting, wine list great & service exemplary. Just too much salt.

I came here with a friend yesterday for lunch. We sat outside and admired the view and enjoyed the evident atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly, though started by offering us the 'water menu'! They seriously had a menu of different waters and they had a water sommelier too, if we wanted to use him. We politely declined, trying not... More

I love visiting Stark Bar for a drink before exploring the museum. The cocktails are expensive, yes, but you can watch the bartenders making them and you can tell they know what they're doing. They are also super-friendly! My personal favorite cocktail is the Steel Magnolia.
