Fine Eats at LACMA

When visiting LACMA or the Page / Tar Pits areas, this is the place to nosh or dine - your choice. Nice foodie selection always & conveniently located in a museum portico. Seating is a bit odd, but OK, & serve staff hurries about. Can't beat the location.

Ate here on a recent visit to the LACMA. The salad that I ordered with heirloom tomatoes & burrata cheese was absolutely amazing. The bread basket contained the best bread I had during my 4 days in LA. The place is pricey but judging by the quality of the meal I had, it's worth it.

When in LACMA and want to sit down for a proper meal, this is your only choice. I found the menu kind of limited and pricy. The staff is also not the fastest or friendliest in town. I have tried having lunch there on several occasions, unfortunately always with the same disappointment.

Our family decided to try this venue for Mother's Day and were very pleased. It is outside the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art, so it was a beautiful setting. the staff was extremely cordial and the food and drinks delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting LA.

Everyone should serve like Paul serves. He makes the food so much better because he's kind, attentive and respectful. We came from Seattle and thanks to Paul our trip was worth it. Ray's and Stark needs more servers like Paul because he even makes me want to be best friends with him. You should promote him... before another restaurant steals... More

I would agree with the others about the service. It is not bad, but the servers dont have defined areas so they over cover some tables and undercover to others. When we asked them for assistance they were very attentive. We only had drinks and they would quite good with the chips in funky hip and comfy chairs.

We were going to a museum exhibit at 12:45, had 30 min to grab a quick bite- they sat us immediately, Bryan, our server, told us what would be quick (appetizers and salads). Brought out food pronto with the check. We ordered the Brussel sprouts- they were incredible! We also had the chickory salad - a perfect blend of fruit... More

Long delay before placing our order, then had to ask for the check three times before it finally came. When it did, it included charges for items that had not been delivered to the table, and no one came to pick up the credit card or settle the bill until I got up and went to hostess stand, said I... Things started off pleasantly enough here. I ordered the hamburger, my logic being it's hard to mess up a hamburger. (Boy, was I wrong!) I asked the server if it could be lettuce wrapped instead of being served in a bun, and the server assured me, with a coquettish blink of his eyes, "Absolutely!". He also asked me how I... More

Service, food and nice room. What else could you ask for? We split an unusual salad, had the white pizza and a very tasty Cubano sandwich. Also interesting was the menu of waters from around the globe. Sounds silly but not what you expect. Water does taste differently. Great way to break up your museum visit and spend a hour... More
