We made a reservation here for lunch during an all day visit to LACMA. We were seated promptly at an indoor table (best on a cool day). Ambiance and service were pleasant. The menu was interesting, with a wide variety of possible selections for lunch. The prices looked reasonable until the food arrived. Portions are ridiculously small. Pasta carbonara was... More

Our January el nino week was a great time to visit the "Rain Room" and see the Frank Gehry exhibit. Great lunch at Ray and Stark before the exhibits. Have previously been here for dinner when the sun blasts the window seats. Lunch was a delight. Great branzino. Nice salad. The service and wine was delightful.

We went to the LAC museum of art and opted to have dinner there. The restaurant appearance is interesting and it was certainly convenient for dinner after a concert that need at 7 PM. The restaurant was pretty empty which should have been a sign. The menu looked interesting and the waiter explained the meals with enthusiasm, describing some interesting... More

We went to LACMA and for lunch we decided to try this restaurant. They had us waiting 20 minutes and made us sit outside without caring about the fact we had two babies and it was cold. The outside heater was on but it wasn't enough for all the people that was eating outside. The food was expensive for the... More

I dined here for lunch with a friend after a morning at LACMA. The location worked, and the menu, albeit pricey, sounded good. We ordered three things to share - foie gras toast, cauliflower and a salad. The waiter should have told us the size of the portions, and that we were ordering too much. He didn’t! The foie gras... In times of drought it's more than pretentious and selfish to serve $15.00 bottled water included in a seperate "water" menu.

Went to LACMA and stopped here for cocktails. It was a cool evening but they have nice heaters all around to keep you warm. A tad expensive but I think normal for Los Angeles. I had a daiquiri for $12 and it wasn't that great and my husband had a beer for about $8 or $9. They also serve dinner.... More

We usually visit the museum twice per year and after closing had dinner at Rays because we appreciated the attentive service and the somewhat unusual menu selections, for example, grilled whole branzino. Well, the selections are now more of a standard fare and not inventive at all. Last week the only fish was standard farm raised Atlantic salmon which was... More
