A Pleasant Surprise!

We had just got off the plane from Canada and drove directly to the restaurant, and had no idea what to expect. We found a cute hole-in-the-wall wine bar with a great menu, good service, and wonderful ambience. All the tapas style appetizers we tried were good, and we loved the panini.

Not sure I should be posting this review, if only because this is a small restaurant and tables can be hard to come by. However, it has a fantastic list of wines, which are constantly changing. There are sommeliers on staff to help you make a great selection. You can always have a taste before choosing your wine(s), which allows... More

The most intimate relaxing wine bar in Hollywood. Friendly and helpful service every single time. Happy Hour is great, but with such fair prices, anytime is the right time to visit. Delicious small bites. Margherita flatbread, caviar deviled eggs, dates stuffed with goat cheese and prosciutto. Great sangria and wine choices! The ideal spot to sit and snack and chat... More

Little wine bar off Sunset, right on the main drag but if you blink you'll miss it! Great neighborhood go to place for a great wine selection, friendly service, and delicious tapas style foods.

Loved our time at this quaint tapas bar. Service and food were impeccable. I would definitely return! Reservations or calling ahead is a good idea.

My friends and I wanted to a chill place to grab a glass of wine and some dinner after flying into LA. Someone suggested this place, and it was perfect! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful at giving us drink suggestions. Through her, we discovered a delicious grapefruit cider. I had a mushroom pasta with truffle oil which was... More

OK - first my disclaimer. This was my first meal ever in LA and I chose the restaurant because I wanted to walk from our hotel, and stretch my legs after a long flight. During the walk I found David Bowie's star on the Walk of Fame. He is my all time hero and so I was in a particularly... More

ok so i've been here for a glass of wine and for wine it's ok. not as big of a wine list as you would expect from a wine place but... it's ok. it would be nice if the servers would tell you more about the wines if they are not a traditional cab that you are ordering for example,... More

We chose this place one early evening because we wanted a light supper and the small plates choices filled the bill. Service was friendly and attentive and our server gave some excellent wine pairing suggestions. The place was perhaps a little chilly but soon warmed up with a glass of wine. Believe it or not the mac and cheese was... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
