Yummy curries, nice location

We had a lovely meal here at the end of our holiday. We found the place on trip and would recommend it. I had the duck red curry with white rice and a bottle of wine, which was all delicious. Nice simple setting, tasty meals, good service. The place was busy and although we thought it closed 21.30... read more

Had lunch here with 6 others - place was not busy at all which is odd at rush hour - got the BBQ chicken - tasty but very very dry - and no sauce to dip it in. Plenty of food for lunch - others in our group seemed pleased enough with their food A little pricey for lunch special... More

I was looking for something different and decided on trying this Thai restaurant and was not disappointed. Great appetizers and excellent choices for entrees. The food could have been a little hotter, but it was delicious! I would highly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the experience at Soi 7. Both the excellent quality of food to the large array of teas and sake to choose from. Had a great time. Staff was very competent and friendly.

The worst ever Experience with the food:( Left very dissapointe. Tryed 3 courses. Tom yam soup, which is hard to spoil, was taste like water. Hot wings was taste like burning bones, too much oil. And red curry was look and taste like anything else, but not red curry. But service was very nice. But its not the main thing... More

We have eaten at all the other highly-rated restaurants in downtown but had not tried this, because it is never crowded when we walk by (dinner). Decided to try it, and it was GREAT! The pineapple fried rice (with shrimp, chicken, pork) was the best I've ever had. The red duck curry was so good, my wife ate half of... More

I work downtown and get the papaya salad a few times a month. It's tangy and refreshing. The lunch special is $12, but has a great variety of dishes (not just your standard pad thai) and comes with a delicious cabbage soup. They also have the best selection of teas (you can order it hot or cold) ! I love... More

Pad thai was as you expect and certainly plenty if it! I had the red duck curry and it was very rich and tasty. Didnt need any more than sticky rice with it. They have thai beer too and loads of saki. Probably nicest duck curry ive had! Service was great and prices resonable. Would have loved to try more... More

We first found Soi 7 on a walking food tour of downtown and loved it. Since then, we've been back every time we have a reason to go to the area. Our favorite dishes are the green papaya salad and the crying tiger skirt steak. Service has always been very good and the environment is comfortable.
