Best food and service.

Been here about 20 times if not more. Food is great, we pretty much tried everything on the menu. Can't go wrong with anything. Check out the library upstairs as well for drinks.

We found Cleo when looking for a good place to eat close to the Pantages Theater. It's just around the corner from the theater on the ground floor of The Redbury Hotel on Vine Street. It's a fast-paced place to eat, where all of the dishes are small plates [mezze or tapas style] but designed for sharing. When we arrived... More

3 of us dined here on a Wednesday night in April and the restaurant was packed so I would definitely recommend a reservation. The staff were very helpful and talked us through the food a drinks menu. Cocktails were great and the food was very tasty. Highlights were the lamb shank special, garlic shrimp and the sliders. The bill was... More

Went here for Valentine's Day with a date. Was one of the top ten meals of my life. The humus with pita bread was the best I've ever had, even better than when I was in the Mediterranean. The lamb was also some of the best I've ever had, it literally fell off the bone. Will DEFINITELY be returning!

Mostly Mediterranean fare and almost everything here is good. Don't miss the brussel sprouts (tastes like potato chips!), beet or Greek salad, dolmades, hummus served with warm bread tucked away in a paper bag and all the kabobs. Also the lamb shank when available as a special is to die for. Nothing is too expensive, but it can add up... More

One of the best restaurants in the city, located inside a beautiful hotel, right in the middle of Hollywood. The perfect place for dinner before, or after a show at the Pantages Theatre. The food is excellent and unique, never fails, even after all these years. Great wines, and very friendly staff. Small plates for the tasting experience is the... More

my party of four arrived a little early for our 6pm reservation, so we headed upstairs to The Library bar... a very cool spot, right on Hollywood & Vine yet secluded and airy. Would be great for a party (note to self). While Cleo had been completely empty just minutes before, by the time we were seated the place was... More

I've been here a dozen or so times in the past year and every time is amazing. The food is consistently good and they have a great vibe going on. Downside is that it's super popular and - even with a reservation - you may need to wait an extra 30 minutes or more for a table. No worries --... More

I had dinner reservations for a Friday evening. Located in a hotel my senses were mesmerized by the aroma of the kitchen. We were seated asap and my friendly waitress took my order for a glass of red wine. I than placed my order for my tapas, this is what we ordered: The hummus and tahini served with bread baked... Stumbled upon this Mediterranean tapas dream on our first and last trip to LA. What a treat. The feta yogurt style dip with their amazing bread served in a greasy paper bag is an absolute MUST. Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
