Such a great unforgettable experience

It is nicely located in Redbury Hotel at the Vine Street and about 1 min. walk to the Hollywood/Vine Station. You may say that it is a bit dark. However I must say that the ambience is great as the candle light is good for the mood. The food is fabulous... don't forget the lamb chop in particular... read more

I loved everything about this place. From the ambiance to the meal. The ravioli dish was perfection. Make it one of your choices! There were so many great dishes to choose from. I wish we could have made time in our schedule for another visit. For a tapas place the service and turnaround time was fast!

Dined here prior to seeing an evening show at The Pantages. It was busy and we had no reservation when our party of seven arrived, but luckily they were able to accommodate us in a timely manner. Portions were small and pricey, but sharing was the best way to go... everything on the menu sounded appetizing and did not disappoint!... More

I don't often give 5 stars but this is a hidden gem of a restaurant. We've been traveling for 32 days in 5 different countries and this was by far the best meal we have had. I looked on trip advisor this evening and took a cab to Cleo an hour later. Do yourselves a favour and go. There were... More

The food is great. I brought a friend who is a terribly picky eater and she found things she would eat. The cocktail menu is superb in a city that is saturated with mixologists. Great people watching!

I love this place, although it is expensive. The a la carte food choices are creative and very tasty, with a Middle Eastern flair. The ambience is a bit noisy, but the surroundings are wonderfully designed. It just feels good to eat here!

At the recommendation of our hotel concierge, went to Cleo for dinner with a family member. Extraordinary eclectic menu with interesting twists on traditional flavors and dishes. The restaurant is in the Redbury Hotel on Vine near Hollywood Blvd, right in the heart of weird and tacky Hollywood, and you can get a real cross-section of the Hollywood experience with... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. It gets pretty packed so make a reservation. Ask for a low table not the high tables, they are uncomfortable. The libations were pricy but very creative and good! It's a scene for sure...

Opens at 6pm on a Saturday and thankfully we had a 6pm booking. Waiting line at opening for what became obvious reasons. Absolutely delicious choices. Oh,the mushroom dish!! When you order flatbread thinking its a bread selection, beware, it takes time because it's really a small thin crust pizza but Wow! Came last so was a takeaway. Only so so... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
