Great tapas!

I had dinner reservations for a Friday evening. Located in a hotel my senses were mesmerized by the aroma of the kitchen. Stumbled upon this Mediterranean tapas dream on our first and last trip to LA. What a treat. The feta yogurt style dip with their amazing bread served in a greasy paper bag is an absolute MUST. The Brussel sprouts where a hit and the ravioli was delicious. We ordered 5 dishes, including dessert, between the 2 of us and it was... More

I know better to expect a great meal on Valentine's Day but this exceeded my low expectations. Poor service, overly sweet drinks, lukewarm food, and an already expensive prix fixe with a mandatory (and totally undeserved) 20% gratuity. What a joke. The location in Vegas was amazing and this was amazingly disappointing. Ugh.

Cleo Restaurant.... it has so many great things a can think of... I've been twice this month and that helped me validate what a good restaurant this is. It is important to say that the food is more on the southern italian and greek style. The plates are served in a middle easter or tapas fashion and the flavours are... More

My sister-in-law, niece, and I had a pre-Pantages theater dinner at Cleo on a recent Saturday night. We had made an early reservation (6 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show) because we had heard that service could be slow. However, we had prompt and courteous service from all waitstaff. We ordered the recommended Brussels sprouts plus the chicken tagine, artichoke... More

Once you get past the bored hostess greeting you, you're in for a treat. Our waiter was fun and friendly. He took the time to explain his favorite dishes to us and made some recommendations on what to start with. We had 8 items on the menu (flatbread, chicken tajine, lamb kabob along with a few other dishes). Everything was... More

The waitstaff was excellent! The food, although very good, was average for this caliber of restaurant. Not bad. Just not very memorable...

We came to Cleo for the New Years Eve special menu. It was a night we will never forget. The service was impeccable only surpassed by the food and cocktails! The Old Hollywood cocktail was a standout. I would come back here in a heartbeat, if only we didn't live on the other side of the world.

Came here (with reservations) before a show at the Pantages. We had reservations for 6:00 before our 8:00 show at Pantages. No problem with timing but we did think service was a bit slow between courses and then two courses came out together. An unusual menu that encourages trying new things. However, most everything is rich so don't overdo your... More

Came here before a show at the Pantages. Thought it might be fun. New it would be busy but ready for it. Waiter took our order and disappeared! Waited half an hour to get another drink! Got the first part of our order than had to wait forever for the last. When the waiter finally showed up again after fort-five... More

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
