In town for a few days. Sugarfish was recommended by hotel. Wow. Surprisly fresh, like dissolve in my mouth fresh. Rice was uniquely warm and seaweed crispy fresh. I jumped in with the 'Trust Me' special. Just right. Tasty and zingy sauses. Great sushi!

Small restaurant located in downtown LA. Great sushi served on warm rice, nice presentation. Service is friendly but needs to be more attentive--had to ask for water four times before being served, order was not taken properly.

Sugarfish has a limited but quality menu. They have a 3 tiered 'trust me' menu that apparently most people order. Sugarfish has several locations in the city and if you are in the mood for good sushi, good service you can just pop in and get one of their menus.

It's not the best sushi joint in Los Angeles. However, when in central downtown and you have a sushi craving, this place will more than satisfy your desire. The fish is fresh but the rice could be better.
