You want pork?!

I'm not by any means an expert on Dim Sum, this is only my 4th restaurant. I've come to like it more each time I go but I need to go with a person who is an expert, preferably someone of Chinese decent. This place is good, here in LA there are better, especially those in East Los Angeles.

We gone several times as a family (party of 10 & 12). Food and service is excellent. We ordered from the menu as well as the dim sum carts. Since we are such a large party, we always make reservations. We have hot tea as well as the Plum wine. With such a large party we order lots of dishes,... More

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in West LA for Dim Sum and quality Chinese dinners. We have been going there for years. Had changed ownerships over the years, but remains one of the best. It is als very good for private room events for 20-40 people.

We've been going to this place when it was called VIP Seafood restaurant. It was the only Dim Sum place in west LA that we could find. There's no self parking unless you park in the street (they only have valet parking there and you'll have to fork out $1 fee for them). The staff there are mostly Chinese and... More

This place has been our go-to dim sum restaurant for years. It has changed names and owners a few times, but the dim sum has remained very good. In fact, it seems to have gotten better recently. I've had dim sum all over LA and also in Hong Kong, so I know what I like. They do the cart thing... More

It hits the spot when you want dim sum but don't want to drive to Chinatown or further east on the 10 Fwy. Consistent and reliable for carrying the most popular dim sum items. Their boba milk tea is not good, however.

Went to this place on the recommendation of a friend. We arrived at 10AM on a Sunday with no reservation and were seated immediately. The carts were quick to arrive; the selection was pretty standard but had some good standouts. Of note were the shrimp and scallop dumplings, the shrimp and leek dumplings, and the shrimp dumplings covered in sticky... More

Palace is close to the great food I've had in Taiwan. With a large menu specializing in seafood, there is much to choose. The service is good and food ranks high. Do not go expecting "Americanized" Chinese food.

Run by a group of cantonese chefs and servers, this restaurant is a gem amidst the hustling busy neighborhood of LA. Price range average. I've been to downtown LA Chinatown with less pricey listing but you won't be disappointed by the wide range of selection and nice atmosphere within. The authentic pork siew mai and prawn dumpling are all worth... More

It used to be impossible to find dim sum on the Westside in LA, but this place does a very, very good job of keeping the steam carts filled and a-rolling. We’ve been having Sunday brunch here for many years and this past Sunday, the four of us enjoyed just about everything: a variety of tasty dumplings, especially the shrimp... More
