Crowded on a Game Night...

Because of bad timing, we arrived shortly before a Los Angeles Kings game and the hockey shirted crowd was a loud one. Once they departed the atmosphere improved dramatically, although the service did not. The sushi and sashimi choices were fairly generic, the spicy tuna worthy of a second serving... read more

Dinner for a party of 6-8 co-workers. The food was perfect for sharing! A light but filling dinner...a good opportunity to taste a few different menu items. Drink selections were plentiful and delicious. I was not a fan of the apple dessert. Not exactly what I expected, but overall a good experience.

I went on a super-packed night and we were still served in a timely manner. Our server had a large table and was sure to never miss anything we needed. Food was amazing and we had a great night!

Arrived into LA from London jet lagged and hungry. LA live was close by and there we found Katsuya. We had those starters with the fried rice on the bottom and what seems like fish tartare topped with a jalapeño. They were ok at best. Meant to be a signature dish I think - but I think they need to... More

The presentation of the sushi dishes was really well done. We had a business party here as well as a lunch. The food was fantastic for both. Service was efficient. Patio is a nice comfortable spot to people watch and enjoy the warm temps. A great spot at L.A. Live

The atmosphere is great! Great drinks and food! The servers were very attentive as well. Sit at the bar where they are rolling sushi!

The sushi was actually really good. However, the food that comes out of the hot kitchen was cold and timed wrong. My wife and I ordered from both kitchens. My steak came out 15 minutes before my wifes. As I sat there waiting for her food to arrive, my steak got cold. When hers arrived, it was already cold. Must... More

The service was terrible! It was difficult to order our food and it took forever to get what we had ordered. It seemed like the wait staff forgot we were there and we had empty plates sitting at our table for about an hour and no one came back to get them. When we finally got the waiters attention, he... We order the crab rolls in rice/soy paper, teriyaki chicken, nabeyaki udon, edamame (small bowl) and shrimp and mozzarella cheese tempura. They are all good size and delicious. However, I still think the prices are a bit steep considering the quality of the food. I would recommend to visit for a special occasion meal or for paycheck day but not... More

Dropped in after the rush for the game next door... Probably no point before without a booking! Tried sashimi and a salad the first night plus some unique cocktails .... Just gorgeous food and lovely presentation. Authentic and so tasty :) Wanted to try the wagyu so figured I'd come back again ... And was not disappointed ... Who knew... More
