Wonderful Flavors

I had never had dinner at the Delphine only lunch. It was more expensive than I expected for a busy bar with many TVs. Entres are $30 and sides close to $10. It was well worth it. If I didn't live so far away, I would be a regular. The flavors in my bass dish and Brussels sprouts side were... read more

I always have dinner at Delphines before the theater and its the highlight of the evening. The fish is always good, especially the Loup de Mer and Salmon, which I recommend you try. I always start with a Kale salad which has a kick to it. For dessert, try my favorite, the sticky toffee. All the servers are great but... More

I have been to the Delphine a couple of times, but always forget to review it. I love this place. The decor is beautiful, the hostess is a total sweetheart. All the staff are great actually. I went with a friend for his birthday. He was hemming and hawing over the menu and asked to try the lettuce from the... More

Delphine has a great location. It is directly across the street from the Pantages Theatre. They get a lot of of their business from people waiting to go to a show or returning for a light meal afterwards We went on Sunday before the show. They say they offer brunch but it's really not. It's a menu with breakfast and... More

I enjoyed the Bette Davis cocktail and the soup of the day - minestrone. I wasn't a fan of the salad with melon and proscuito - meat too thick and dressing too salty. The time before a Pantages show is busy, but they made an effort to hustle and were nice.

We went there for lunch as it is across the street from the Pantages Theater. I think the place is just Ok. The service I slow, the menu is very limited for both breakfast and lunch. Our server was very nice but slow. When we arrived the place wasn't all that busy though it did begin to fill up around... More

Great Hollywood theatre choice!! Directly facing the pantages, specialty cocktail menu themed for the performance and great service!! We were seeing a twilight show so half way between a late lunch and early dinner, had the place to ourselves. Service was attentive even as the rush crowd filed in. Loved all that we ate, which centered around Mediterranean fish and... More

Food was good, but not anything special. Drinks were nicely sized and tasty, but the service could have been just a little faster. There was no big crowd and no reason for it, but it seemed as if the server just didn't really care very much.

We go to Delphine's every couple of months prior to a show at the Pantages. Always good food, usually very understanding of the timing needed for attending the theatre. But Wednesday was an off-night, a very off night. The food was very late, not well cooked and the excuse of a "new chef" was unacceptable. removing the overcooked fish from... More

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
