Go for Happy Hour!

Came here with a friend for happy hour drinks on our first day in LA. Had the blush sangrias which were pretty yummy and affordable. Also shared some truffle parmesan fries. The server was pleasant yet unobtrusive. Our glasses and dishes were cleared promptly whether by the server or the numerous... read more

We came here before a showing of The Phantom of the Opera and so happy with our decision. Luckily I used open table to book a reservation. The atmosphere is lively and uplifting with a great bar area. We sat along the wall closer to the entrance from the W Hotel. Our server Robin was attentive and made excellent recommendations.... The atmosphere is really nice. They've done a lovely job with the restaurant. The menu isn't small but it's a bit limiting. The food was okay and overpriced for what it was.

Stopped in here for breakfast, staying at the W Hotel, was a convenient stop first thing in the morning. Good service, decent breakfast options available, eggs Benedict were great, wife had the yoghurt musli fruit bowel which she loved (was huge and loaded with fresh berries!). Only let down was the coffee, very average which is disappointing for a Restuarant... More

We go to the Pantages a couple of times a year and this is the best pre-theater dinnning. The Lobby Bar gives you time to do a little people watching, it is Hollywood. The Eatery is also very good the food and service both are outstanding. They also are use to working with a time schedule matched to the Play... More

This restaurant is located in the W Hollywood and is across from the Pantages Theatre. Had breakfast here one morning and had the coffee, juice, bacon and eggs and my partner had banana pancakes. The servings were generous and the service was good. Breakfast was on the expensive side as the bill was $50 or more but well worth it.

I always have dinner at Delphines before the theater and its the highlight of the evening. The fish is always good, especially the Loup de Mer and Salmon, which I recommend you try. I always start with a Kale salad which has a kick to it. For dessert, try my favorite, the sticky toffee. All the servers are great but... More

I had never had dinner at the Delphine only lunch. It was more expensive than I expected for a busy bar with many TVs. Entres are $30 and sides close to $10. It was well worth it. If I didn't live so far away, I would be a regular. The flavors in my bass dish and Brussels sprouts side were... More

I have been to the Delphine a couple of times, but always forget to review it. I love this place. The decor is beautiful, the hostess is a total sweetheart. All the staff are great actually. I went with a friend for his birthday. He was hemming and hawing over the menu and asked to try the lettuce from the... More

Delphine has a great location. It is directly across the street from the Pantages Theatre. They get a lot of of their business from people waiting to go to a show or returning for a light meal afterwards We went on Sunday before the show. They say they offer brunch but it's really not. It's a menu with breakfast and... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
