Perfect Spot

We were starving when we arrived at the W Hollywood after driving up from Laguna Beach late afternoon. We didn't really feel like going out for dinner. So, we decided to check out Delphine right in the hotel. It was delicious! Service was good, atmosphere very nice, and food yummy. We were so glad... read more

We went during happy hour for their oyster specials on Monday nights. The oysters were only OK, not great, and the bar was virtually empty -- hardly the lively scene I expected.

This restaurant is in the W hotel in Hollywood, CA. We have used it for breakfast, lunch and dinner with good results. It is expensive but worth it.

We ate at the Delphine before a show at the Pantages. It was actually nice to see that there was a bouncer of sorts standing in front of the double doors as we approached, and he practically invited us in and got the door for us. I didn't see any posted dress code, and being dressed for the theater we... More

I really enjoyed this place, super nice interior and it is off the W Hotel. We had the most wonderful server named Katie. I had the ahi on top of avocado and wonton chips, it was so good! Everything else everyone ordered looked amazing too. This is a great place to make a reservation before seeing something at the Pantages... More

We got the huevos rancheros and the eggs in puff pastry and both were very good. The service was quick and we were able to start our day with a great tasting meal.

Across the street from Pantages in the W Hotel so there is always a fun vibe. They cook the salmon medium rare which made us hesitate but it was so fresh, we wouldn't have it any other way. The loup de mare was cooked perfectly and the short ribs were the "best ever" according to the connoisseur at our table.... More

We came here before a showing of The Phantom of the Opera and so happy with our decision. Luckily I used open table to book a reservation. The atmosphere is lively and uplifting with a great bar area. We sat along the wall closer to the entrance from the W Hotel. Our server Robin was attentive and made excellent recommendations.... The atmosphere is really nice. They've done a lovely job with the restaurant. The menu isn't small but it's a bit limiting. The food was okay and overpriced for what it was.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
