We sat down outside and enjoyed a coffee with a cupcake. Nice place for something quick in Little Tokyo. They also have other quick foods like pre-made sandwiches and small pizzas and other baked goods.

I've been going here for a few years and I always get the same thing. I actually don't know what it's called. But, I'll try to describe this very yummy treat. A huge triangle shaped piece of pound cake with a layer of cream and a layer of raspberry preserve. I blame a friend of mine for introducing this evil... More

I love this place and always come here when I am in town. It is a family style bakery with very good baked goods and high quality. I enjoy coming here in the morning and one of my most favorite items is the "sugar toast" which is very thick bread toasted and rolled in sugar. It is really good. They... More

On a recent trip to LA my husband & I stopped in while shopping & grabbed a few sweet treats. Before we left to go back home, we made a second stop to bring home some of their unique coffee bread & sweet rolls.

This bakery restaurant is in Little Tokyo around the corner from the Miyako Hotel. the service and food quality are superb. I love the curry bun, fruit tarts green, and tea mocha cookies. It has to be good as there are some very good restaurants and places with baked goods in easy walking distance. Make sure you have a little... More

If you ever crave Japanese baked goods, this bakery in downtown LA is tops. They carry everything from pastry, cakes, Japanese white bread, doughnuts. The breads particularly are super delicious, soft and luscious. It's not French, it's not Italian, Its not meaning to be anything but a Japanese bakery which is a difference one knows, if they've been to Japan.... More

Around the corner from the Miyako Hotel and great pastries and ready-made sandwiches. We had to eat on the run, so getting some nutrition here was awesome.

You'll find Yamazaki in the heart of Little Tokyo, and you'll also find amazing an-pan. They have two kinds of an-pan, and, while both are good, the one with the smooth bean paste is heavenly. My daughter, on the other hand, fell in love with the melon pan. All I know is I haven't had such good Japanese sweat breads... More
